  1. I had a revision on 11/5 due to GERD and regain due to my thyroid. I noticed the difference immediately. However the past few days I noticed slight discomfort but nothing like before. I’m a little concerned because it’s been 3 weeks and I’m only down 13 pounds.
  2. I agree. If your body isn't getting enough nutrients it literally hold on to every calorie. Take a look at this article. https://www.womenshealthmag.com/weight-loss/a19998301/what-is-starvation-mode/
  3. Good luck! I hope all goes well!
  4. Hello. I had a revision on 11/5 and my GERD went away immediately. I’ve had a few instances where I felt slight heartburn but it went away quickly.
  5. I'll be sure to try these! Can you have these during the soft food phase?
  6. OMG!!!!! I had a sugar free jello pudding today and I swear it tasted like filet mignon!
  7. I had my surgery on Nov 5th as well. I hope all is going well. How long are you required to do clear liquids post-op?
  8. Thank you! How long will you be on full liquids before going to puree?
  9. Hello! I'm just curious. I had surgery this past Friday and was told I had to do clear liquids for 2 weeks. It seems as if some people don't have the same requirement. How soon were you told that you could start full liquids?
  10. Underwent a revision and hernia repair on Nov 5th. Lots of bloating but it’s getting better. Good luck everyone!
  11. I know! I’m excited but nervous. I keep hearing that you don’t lose as much weight during a revision.
  12. Hello surgery buddies! Revision from VSG to RNY! Just got my date yesterday. November 5th for me! I was surprised at how fast the process moved this time!

  14. Wow! Impressive! I started Camp Gladiator a few weeks ago and I'm really starting to like it!
  15. I too have Hashimoto which makes it difficult to loose weight. I had the sleeve a little over 3 years ago and I've gained about 15 pounds back. It started when my medication and levels got out of whack! I've been struggling every since. I'm thinking of looking into the Keto diet. Don't know much about it. Thanks for sharing.
  16. I have heard differs people say similar things. I think it really depends on the person. I was physically unable to eat for a few weeks. Even liquid was extremely difficult. Also my surgeon use the smallest bougie (stomach) size to create my pouch. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. No regrets for me. My largest size was 16 in pants but that's the heaviest I'd ever been without being pregnant. 12 months out and I'm down to a size 8.

  19. Yesterday marked my one year anniversary of sleeve surgery. It's been hard but so worth it. Down 75 pounds and still going! Thanks everyone for the support, advice, prayers, and kind words! Happy 2016!
