Successfully banded 12/3/14
Hope you feel great soon. I am down 40 pounds. Banded Aug 13. This includes pre op. I feel great. I want to encourage the walking. You need the core body strength and it helps with the gas. Remember it is a tool and we need to do a lot of work also. Good luck

Successfully banded 12/3/14
I had other surgeries when my kids were small. They want mom. I sat with them. Lay in bed beside to read stories. I just didn't pick them up

Freak out pre-op... tell me I am not alone.
I wish I had done something sooner. At 55 it is way more difficult

How does Sleep Apnea complicate the VSG date?
Because of my sleep apnea, I stayed the night after my surgery. My sleep apnea machine changed my life. I will use it until hopefully one day I don't have to.

Finally! Broke the Plateau.
Weeks at a stall. I hid my scale and focussed on everything I knew I should be doing. Dr weigh in said 7 lbs down. Perhaps I will find the scale again or wait for next doctor visit

Keep up the great work. I am one month ahead of you. Down 40 lbs and feeling good. I need to keep up the momentum. I have list and regained 20 lbs before often. I need to ensure I continue on track

size 20 to size 16 ????
I am dreaming about being a size 16. It has been many years since I seen that size. 22's we're getting tight, now 20's are too loose and not quite 4 months.

Getting banded on wednesday, pre-op nerves
Even with 40 lbs loss I still worry I won't complete my journey. It could be this worry that keeps me going even with other life stressing things that happen in everyone's life
