  1. Had my first fill 3 weeks ago. 2cc. Scheduled next week for another 2. Is this normal? I feel no restriction and can't imagine 4cc will get me any. I know everyone's been though it, I just feel like this is too conservative. Thoughts?
  2. I realize after a fill I will be on liquid/mushies for a few days, but after that is it easier to get "stuck" after the fill than when you had no fluid in the band?

  4. Great feed back. So what I get is that it depends a lot on your hunger level. Is that based on a sub 1000 calorie (or what your dr.s target goal is). Or is it that based on what your band allows you to consume in a meal?
  5. In the middle of my first week, so I am a ways away, but what is the average time before your first fill? Do you have any restriction before your first fill? What I mean is that once you're back to your regular diet and before the first fill, are you still capable of eating anything you want with no consequences? (besides no weight loss) My other question is this. If you are still losing weight at a decent rate when its time for your first fill, do they postpone it until your weight loss has stopped?

  7. Better today. Thanks for the comments.
  8. Is there a secret to it? I'm a good student.

  10. Banded on Friday. I know its early but every time I take a drink or even a sip of Water, it goes down ok but feels like its trapping air going down. Causes gas to build with every swallow and I can see its discouraging me from drinking my water. Should this get better? Or could this be a problem. It's just water. I know it might be nothing just needing some positive feedback.
  11. I want to go to a waterpark with my kids and not worry about any weight restrictions. Go to an amusement park and not have to research what rides I can fit on before I go. I want to buy a nice suit. I havent been able to get myself to do it because I always thought I should lose weight before I did. I want to look around and not be the fattest guy in the room.
