That's awesome. I would help you pack your bags and give you a kiss on the cheek on your way out of the door.
I do appreciate you, though. Makes my husband look like a much better man than he did two minutes ago.

Yikes. I know if my husband did that I'd tell him to enjoy all the sides he wants because he'll never get the main dish from me again...and the judge will divvy up the rest. IMO. Every relationship is different.
With that "side piece" attitude, he can be somebody else's problem. ????

Stop making it about sex. Stop the growling and the innuendos -- to me that's a huge turn off. She's not a pleasure object, she's a living, thinking, feeling human being. Men might find that a turn on, but as a woman, I do not. I am all for the playing and teasing and groping when it's appropriate, but it's not always appropriate and if she is feeling fragile (and I'm sure she is), now is NOT the time.
Seduce her mind. Cook her dinner and clean up without talking about how you cooked and cleaned. Rub her feet and back without expecting sex. Tell her how beautiful you've always found her, with no emphasis on how much better she looks now. Stop hounding her for sex because that is NOT going to work, I guarantee it.
Bring her flowers if she's into that, or maybe a bottle of wine. Talk to her about her day and actually listen. Touch her face, her hair, her shoulder without going for her boob or her ass.
Move slowly. You are frustrated, probably with good reason. She's hormonal, going through some major physical changes and probably pissed at herself because she doesn't want sex.
I have no doubts she is feeling VERY insecure about how her body WAS, how her body IS right now and how her body is going to turn out when she reaches her weight. YOU think she is beautiful, desirable, and highly sexable. She doesn't feel that way about herself right now and the words "I want to bend you over" make things "porn star" and so NOT emotional. I'm not putting down your efforts, I have NO DOUBT you love her and you want her to know that, but your method is not working right now, so change gears.
Love her through this, don't try to SEX her through this. Emotionally supportive will get you laid faster than middle school groping, ass grabs and comments, I promise you.

Panera has a great chili. I find I can only eat about a 1/4 cup of it and then I am good. Its nicely seasoned and makes my taste buds and brain feel like I ate something significant since I'll eat it slowly.

All I'm saying if one of yall came at me for asking a simple question on a website that is ment to have questions asked it would be on. There is no dumb question some people really don't know things. Some people's schedule does not permit the making of food prior. Whether it is accidentally over sleeping or what have you. No one is perfect. Before the sleeve or band or bypass if someone told you you shouldn't have eaten out how would you have acted. You didn't get the surgery cause yall were skinny I'm almost 100% sure of that. Alot of people get this high and might princess attitude turning their noses up at things they have done too. Whether it was done before or after surgery. I have noticed this alot on this forum alot of people are starting to snap at others for their questions and if that is the case remove yourself so people can get answers not judgment. We get that from actual people we come across everyday don't need it from people on here. So sorry for ranting but it is on almost every topic I have read. Some rude snippety person judging others.

I've eaten out a few times (and I'm just over 5 weeks out). I either order chili or an omelette. I think that maintaining healthy social relationships is important too.

You don't get out much, do you?
There's the "Fit and Trim" menu at Ruby Tuesdays.
Subway has healthy salads and some good sandwiches.
And Panera (Half Asiago Roast Beef Signature Sandwich on Asiago cheese Bread), Applebees (Caesar salad with Chicken), and Wendy's (Chili with Cheese) all offer some good WLS food choices.
All Mexican restaurants make chicken fajitas (chicken, onions, peppers, spices, oil). That's a great meal--actually, it's several great meals.
It's not the restaurant that's unhealthy, but which food(s) you order and how much you eat and how much you take home for another meal.

Many Take-out places have alternate menus. I stick with places where I can get nutritional values like Panera, for example. Since I am gone a lot I sometimes have no choice but to order out. Its about being flexible and making choices that work. One meal from a take out place will not derail you if you don't let. That is advice from both my surgeon and my NUT. Everything in moderation and make good choices and be mindful. No need to be extreme.

I was initially trying to find something I could drink on my hour commute to work, as breakfast, but since I don't feel hunger at this point I've just been waiting until I get to work and having a yogurt.

I've tried Atkins Advantage (loved pre-op), Premiere Protein, Jay Robb, GNC Lean 25... I think that's it. My program actually doesn't recommend Protein Drinks, and I've been doing okay without them.

I think how alcohol affects WLS patients is as varied as non-WLS patients. I've had 4 cocktails within a couple hours postop and it certainly didn't hit me like 28-40 cocktails would have preop! In fact, I was barely buzzed. And I definitely didn't have a 28 cocktail hangover. Actually, I really don't notice any difference in how fast or how hard alcohol affects me at all. I simply choose to drink a hell of a lot less than I did before surgery....just because of the whole empty calories, blah blah blah reason. I simply treat it like any other "white carb" and only have it in moderation.

So? One more reason I'm glad I don't have a nut telling my what I can and can't eat. I'm perfectly capable of reading labels and making my own decisions.

@@sweetie716 That's good that you are able to get your fluids in. If you can take in more without any issue, pain , ect..then that's great! Don't worry about your restriction at this point, it's just fluids and fluids pass Through the sleeve easier than food will. Keep it up!

I actually did use the meth answer once. And when one person asked if I had cancer (actually 3 people have asked that) I told them, yes, testicular cancer. Love that deer in the headlight look!

    2. You're on a hunger strike 'til the Bieb goes home to Canada.
    3. You are having weekly liposuction treatments.

    6. You're the last person in America to have discovered the Atkins Diet.
    7. You've had bone implants in your legs and are now six inches taller.

I told my 7 yr old that I had to have something in my tummy fixed and that I was FINE and that we'd have to be careful for a while after. She asked what was wrong and I told her not to worry about it, that I'm fine.
I showed her and my 3 yr old that I had owies and that they have to be gentle.
That's pretty much been the end of it.
