Went back to the hospital today they gave me a cat scan thankfully didn't find anything but I still have a Migraine like headache. They gave me dilaudid and torradol and benadryl. I can not take this headache anymore. The drugs lessened the pain but it never goes away and comes back worth a vengeance. I wish I could figure this out

I would agree with you about the lactose intolerance except that I have been eating cheese with no problem...I really have no idea. I have started mixing my Protein into pudding which helps me stomach it a bit better.

Cheese sometimes doesn't affect lactose intolerance. I can eat cheese but milk and ice cream is bad...very bad. The other weird thing is, that some days I can eat it all and no problem. Other days I can't keep my Protein Shakes in.

I was just sleeved 3/2 I haven't been able to keep very much down. I'm having a hard time just with Water. I am just taking the bariatric Multivitamin and I gagged on it all the way down. I'm just gonna wait till Tuesday to see the dr before I try the Vitamins again

Well it happend to me this week my boyfriend of a year and a half broke up and its only been 4 weeks since my surgery. Bascially he said I was going to get skinny and leave him so he decided to do it now and not later. I was so mad since he was my supporter in all this. Now Its back to online dating I guess ugh so frustrating. But at least now I can start all over with someone new

Why not take the time for you? Jumping right back into dating life is so stressful. I couldn't do it. I mean I'm not saying I would stay at home and become an old maid but id give myself some time. JMO

I swear to everything holy, I will get my first trip in a police car for assault charges if one person utters those words to me after the week I have had. Somebody set up a bail fund for me. Lol

I was feeling guilty about not being able to take my Vitamins because I had a headache and vitamins don't set well with me in general. So my headache lessens today and I decide I'll take the vitamins and I'm right back where I was, gassy and feel like a spike is being driven into my temple. I will be REALLY happy when this recovery time is over. It's not even the pain of the surgery. Ive had almost none, but this headache is making me gag everything including my gas x strips.

I have been trying to get Fluid down. The v only thing I can tolerate is Water and broth. sugar free stuff it's so nasty. I was eating sf popsicles like crazy before the surgery.

I assure you it's mostly acid. Get a good PPI, omeprazole or Gas-x strips. Give your body time to adjust to the new changes.

Doing all of the above. I just wish I could shake the headache.

I didn't even have a drain. I had a anesthesia ball that I had to take out(reminded me of aliens alittle lol) but it was zero pain and more like a tickle

I had on the gas x. So I really have no taste for anything. I'm 5 days putt and have only gotten a cup of broth down and Water. Dr says don't worry but the gas is killing me and I feel nausea

I'm still not feeling great after 3/2 seems the gas is worse today for some reason.I haven't been getting much down. Just Water mostly. I have had a Migraine for 4 days. I have no surgery pain but this has its brutal

I am looking into the sleeve with Dr. Oldham out of Etown. Surgery to be done at Baptist East. Anyone else in the Louisville - Etown area? I am looking for feedback on the BlueGrass Group in Etown. Thanks!

Dr Oldham is amazing. I've had some med tolerance issues and he had be so great. Calling me on his own time to check on me. Got me out of the hospital before our snowstorm hit the other day. He's so nice and a great surgeon

Are you drinking regular broth or low sodium? Try to drink as much as possible but keep the sodium down

Oh my gosh! What went wrong? It's been a bit rough for me since Tuesday but nothing like you, I'm so sorry to hear that. Please keep us updated.

My issue is pain in my left shoulder. It's pretty painful. Makes me a little anxious wondering if it's a heart thing. How long does this last?

I have a gas issues too. hubby pounded on my back g kinda, like burping a baby. I feel stupid but it helps

I am heading back to work next week. I am wondering how I am going to handle this sort of thing. I work in a restaurant with so many repeat customers who come through sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. A lot of them are doctors and health care workers from the hospitals nearby. I have been working there for 3 years so everyone knows me. I am not to worried about the doctors making comments, but the other customers are going to comment when they see me losing weight. I am not in a position to tell anyone to f**k off. I have not told people at work and took vacation time to recover. I just know it is going to be a big topic. I did want to change jobs anyway.

Just give them the truth. Your eating right and exercising. No one needs to know anything more. And if pressed just say you have another customer.

I've was sleeved on the 2nd too. Had a problem with the pain meds. I dry heaved every time they gave me any. Didn't realize it was the druids so they kept me and extra day. They wanted me to stay another but me had a massive snowstorm and if I stayed I'd probably still be there.but I refused pain meds and everything is okay. I made had a Migraine for 2 days that is making me insane. My tummy is not enjoying Tylenol and ammodium at all. sleep is my bff right now do all I do is drink Water or broth and sleep and walk around the house done I still am pretty snowed in. It's supposed to be 65 this time of year in Kentucky. That is how my life goes lol

I was in for an extra day too. I was throwing everything up ice chips, meds and dry heaving quick really hurts after this and the hernia. Realized it was pain meds. They let me go the next day. They wanted to keep me longer but there was a major snowstorm. It was freezing rain as we Left the hospital

I'm feeling crappy too. Headache, gas no pain but nothing tastes right

I don't feel like eating or drinking anything. I have the worst Migraine. Trying to sip broth. Only able to get a half a cup of broth. But on the bright side I really have no pain. Painkillers were making me barf. So my dr told me to tough it out.

I've been reading about this. Is it that everything tastes bland or just different from how you know it tastes? I'm super curious.

I loved my shakes now they seem obnoxiously sweet. The protein shot stuff I got is sweet and has an aftertaste. I have no desire to eat anything. Everything seems super globby tasting. I also have a mega head ache.

They held me an extra day because I kept throwing up everything it turns out the pain meds were making I it happen so I get no.pain killers
