Had first post op appointment today (13 days) and down 14 pounds since surgery. Dr said everything is going good and approved me for next phase of food!

I've had very little to no pain since day 6!! Just trying to get protein shakes in :-( Don't enjoy them lol

I tried unjury and the nectars. Going to try body fortress next I think

What protein drinks are you using? My taste completely changed!

My only struggle day 6 is the protein drinks. Don't like any of them after surgery! Trying to experiment again

I believe the shoulder pain is gas. It has lessened the more I walk. I'm taking some pain meds at wider intervals today. The pain yesterday and today was tolerable

Liquids have been a mix of jello, sugar free Popsicles, water, crystal light. Just been sipping so far so good

Sleeved yesterday morning. Been sore but no major issues so far

Hi everyone, Been trolling this site for about a month, but was a little shy about posting. I began the process July 21st at Kaiser South San Francisco. Was just assigned my surgery date of 9/4/14. I've lost about 30 pounds on my own and am looking forward to using the sleeve as a tool to help me keep weight off for the first time in my life. Never had surgery before and pretty nervous about it. I would greatly appreciate anyone's experience with my below concerns. 1. Protein Drinks- I am picky with nutritional shakes. I finally got used to Body By Vi, but that won't' work for the surgery requirements. 2. Avoiding really saggy/flappy skin- I know there will be some, but any advice would help. 3. Scared this too will not work
