My journey has been absolutely amazing! Three 5ks completed and two 10ks scheduled. Start weight 275, surgery weight 237, current weight 166, and goal weight 150. I've gone from a size 18/20 to 8/10. I still log my food everyday, stay at 1100-1200 calories a day, and allow myself to have imperfect days (yesterday for example had some dessert). Weight loss has slowed to about 3-5lbs a month but still moving! I would love to hit goal before 9/4 my surgery date. Good luck on reaching your one year goals everyone. -

Thank you to everyone who shares about their stalls and how they work through it! This month weight has either gone up a bit then back down then stayed the same. Thanks to all my reading on here and after checking my food/exercise patterns I can be grateful for what I have achieved so far. It's so important right now for me to focus on the NSVs such as wearing a medium top and size 9/10 pants, completing my 2nd 5k, cutting almost 6 minutes off my 5k time, etc. Staying in positivity and gratitude!!!

So excited that I completed my second 5k and cut my time by 5:50!! It's amazing the physical activity my body can do now! So grateful that I signed up for another 5k in June, a 10k in August, and a 10k in November.

I used an app couch to 5k. I did not start training until around 5 months. Before that I walked, walked, walked.

Same. Three week weight stall, but down in clothing size! I have to remind myself it's not all about the scale and I will get there :-)

That feeling of accomplishment at the end of a race is pretty addictive. Especially when you better your time from race to race. Congrats!!! I'm about to do my second 5k this Saturday

So excited that I walk/ran my first 5k ever yesterday!!! So much fun and now I want to do some more as well as reduce my time. So grateful for the sleeve and my lifestyle changes :-)
