I work in surgery so I know how difficult it is to get your Water in, I try and drink a whole bottle of water on my drive in to work. Then before I scrub in i drink as much as I can and as soon as the case is done I go and drink more I do this all day until I go home and then I try and drink a whole bottle on the way home to. Some days are easier thank others but just do the best you can and eventually you will figure a system that works for you.

I started at 6 weeks post op with a personal trainer and doing orange theory fitness classes those are pretty intense but as long as your doctor okays it and you go at your own pace you should be fine!

I only told my mom, my sister and ofcourse my husband! I have a lot of judgemental extended family members and just felt like they didn't need to know. It's my decision and my choice and I don't need there negative opinions. I'm very happy with my decision, you just need to do what is best for you and what you are comfortable with!

I was done at Scottdale Shea, great team and overall great experience!

Are you on Protonix or any other acid medication? it could be a reaction from that I would ask your doctor about it! I am 5 weeks post op and have had a rash around all my incisions the doctor told me it was a allergic reaction to the Dermabond but nothing has helped then I stopped taking my Protonix 4 days ago and it's finally clearing up!

my insurance required 6 months of Dr. visits before we could submit the paperwork to insurance as well, it goes by so fast trust me. i actually ended up doing a year because about 3 weeks before my first 6 months was up i freaked out not knowing if this was what i wanted and the once i figured out that is was i started my 6 months over. stupid i know but it was the right decision for me and im actually happy i did that.
