I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS! I just had to have my pressure turned down from 12 to 8. By summer I want to be off the CPAP machine.

LOVE this thread. Just what I needed to get me on my treadmill this morning!!! You ALL rock!!
All I can add right now is:
....when you realize the shelf you used to rest your hands during sitting has dropped about 6". When did THAT happen? lol

When you go to a concert and you don't have to sit down sideways to squeeze your butt into the seats.
When you stop hiding from the camera and start posting pictures of yourself to Facebook.< /p>

When you are no longer afraid (neurotically, painfully afraid) of running into someone from high school or college who knew you BEFORE you got fat.
A couple of weeks ago I was in my hometown having lunch at a restaurant with my brother, and mid-way through I realized I had not scoped out every diner in the place to see if there was someone I needed to hide from, nor had I entered the place with the slightest bit of apprehension. It was a wonderful realization.

Arf! I did this for the first time EVER last month. I thought I'd NEVER be able to do it. 50 YO man jumping on a trampoline!

My own: The cheap vinyl molded lawn chairs that everyone sells no longer look like death traps ready to collapse on first sit, and the arms don't "grip" to your rear end when getting out of them either!

I identified with quite a few, particularly feeling my bones rub and having to put a pillow between my legs in bed.
For me I'd say:
Being complimented a TON.
Showing people a picture of the "old" me and having them say "OMG I cannot believe that is you!".
Trying on a size small and having it fit.
Thinking a size of clothing will never fit me and then finding out it does, or is even too big!
Having someone call me "thin".
You stop worrying about weight restrictions for floating objects (rafts, boats, kayaks... all of which I would have never attempted)
Your stretchy size xxl workout pants literally fall off.
Shoes don't fit anymore
You have plenty of room in an airplane seat

When you put on a pair of jeans you haven't worn in forever and can still bend at the hips and tie your shoes (without gasping for air and turning bright red!)

when you go to your sons class for back to school night and you fit in the kids desk that is attached to the chair without pushing yourself in and pulling of fat to fit, and you get out of it without the jaws of life lol

When you can wear your 24 yo daughters American Eagle clothes!

When you can go into penny's and buy a 44R sport coat off the rack when last suit was a 54R.
When you realize your mpg is going up due to less weight being carried in the car.

When you finish your fitness kickboxing class and think...thats it???
When you cut 10-15 minutes off of your 3 mile walk from work to home!

When the suit you had altered 3 weeks ago is now to big, again! And when going tomorrow for Men's Wearhouse two for one sale you will have only one tailored now and the other in another month

When you stop being afraid to put your jeans in the dryer.

You can cross the street before the red hand stops blinking

When:
Your boobs are bigger than your belly
You take up sewing just so you can cut 3 inches of fabric off each side of your favorite shirts and resew them and wear them
You don't have to shop in plus size anymore
You can comfortably wear a pair of sexy high heels

When your collar bones come out of hiding

When you take a new home sleep study and can turn in your CPAP machine! :)

When you can get on a horse with out the help of a tailgate of a truck or a step ladder! I rode my horse for the first time yesterday since I had my surgery! I loved it and I think she did too!

When you can comfortably sit in an airplane seat without needing a seat belt extender

When friends and family, who haven't seen you in a while, greet you with gaping mouths ( I've never gotten used to this)

1 step further....... When you can fit comfortably in the rides at amusements parks

That is a great one!!
I donated 26 bags of clothes to charity. Nothing I had fit me anymore.!! SO AWESOME!!

When you donate clothes that are too big instead of too small

When a regular sized bath towel wraps around you WITHOUT any gaps! That has to be the best feeling. I realized this last night when I got out of the shower.
I even wrapped it past the gap about 7 or 8 inches. HOW FREAKING AMAZING!!!
