  1. :biggrin: WOW I can't believe that I have not posted any blogs since 11/1 07!!!!!!:sleep: I guess that I was embarrassed to post anything becaiuse I was not focused on my eating plan. I have FINALLY kicked but, I have gained and lost since the seminar on 10/31/07. I ws my worst enemy. I was giving myself my own rewards. Last suppers or last treats. I was psyching myself out. I have had enough fast foof meals, french fries, candy and chocolate to last several lifetimes. It was me that had to STOP that and realize that I don't need to do that. This was going to be different!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every diet previously was started with last something... It was until I realized that I don't need to do that this time is when I got it together! Good for me Thinking like that has paid off and brought me to this point. Tomorrow I finally see the surgeon!!!I am back down to 243. 2 lbs away from my required surgery weight. That was the hardest few pounds to lose. It was such a head game. WOW I can't wait to have the surgeon plan a date for me. The coordinators at his ofc say that it probably should be in a week or so due to my Medicare insurance. Yeah for Medicare. They are finally doing something good!!! I hope that everything goes well tomorrow. I will post the results tomorrow night!! :cool2:

    today was a very good day. i had eggs at breakfast and lunch, bbq chicken wings for dinner. i walked for 10 minutes at 0 incline andd 1.5 speed.

    i finally got call from bob deyoung for my psych eval he ants to do it soon 1/5. GREaT

    i told gman-he was soo excite for me11! i couldn't believe it. i am so excited. he just wants me to be healthy.:whoo:

    I went to the seminar today. it was a long day for me. i woke up a 4:30 am this morning. i was sooo excited. i got ready and off to middletown. there was about10 other people there also. the staff really made you feel comfortable. my past exp in dealing w/rs and nurses they are not too kind for the chubbies. but they were very nice and made you comfortable. went through the discussion in am. then this pm saw nurse, dietician, ins specialist. it was not too bad. d-asked wat i liked to eat and do have prob giving up bread for now. no i don't at this point i wll do what it takes.nurse measured and discussed my issues it ws better than i thought. ins- said accept medicare and united healthcare mirrors medicare. becausee have co-morbid i met criteria. all have to do is make appt for tests,see pych,go to support, view emmi,ger ltr clearance from buyer. tests for 11/6 8:45-10:15. 11/19 dr buyer-have to bring med necc letter. have to lose 13 lbs. need to walk a little every day for consistency. it look alot. but know can do. my brother keeps saying he thnks going to end up in hosp because might get sick from it. i assred him no. i have to remb he loves and concerned.

    :clap2:Yeah,Yeah I got my packet all filled out for tomorrow's seminar. i got a medical necc. letter from my dr. i was soo happy because i was worried thst he wouldn't want me to have band cause of the stroke. now i will go to al day seminar tomorrow 10-31 i certainly hope that it won't be long b4 my band. i am starting my new way of eating tomorrow. i want a jump start so my transition is not so diificult. :confused:
