  1. I had my sleeve 6/18 and I think the first 6-7 days at home were the hardest. I still don't feel100%

I will have a burst if energy in the morning but by 1:00 I'm ready to lay on the sofa. Give urself some kindness and don't exert urself. Even though this is laparoscopic surgery, it is major surgery. My doc said 21 days is the number he wanted for me. So mostly I've been recovering. Trying to get my Protein in. Take care of urself dear and let someone else cook and do the wash, and tie ur shoes. ????

  2. Just thought I would mention, everyone can check out their docs information. At least this is true in Texas. U can go to the board of medical examiners, input the docs name and specialty and u will get all the information such as grad date, honors, and anything that is being or has been stipulated against their license.

If you have children please do the same when

Choosing your ped and so on.

Also, if for any reason you have a problem, those are the folks to report it to.

    We all answer to somebody.

    Sleeved 6/18.

It's been a bit rough, I will be honest. Weak, tired, and full with just sips for the first week post op.

I'm feeling better little by little. I'm getting more Protein in. Lots of changes, like now I'm lactose intolerant. Hoping that will change in the future.

Always smell gasoline, lol. The headaches have subsided which is awesome.

People considering the VSG you gotta know that this is weight loss surgery and a BIG detox.

    Best wishes all.
