Jtickle you are an inspiration! I'm two weeks post op and am just starting to go on daily walks but hope to return to the gym soon. I hope I'm able to exercise as well as you have been! Great job!

Oh my goodness I know your pain. I'm taking two stool softeners a day and added Fiber to all my drinks. My dr said any longer than three days is considered extreme contstipation and to use a suppository or enema if needed. Also, if use a suppository you should lie on your left side after placing it because it allows for easier movement until u finally can go....otherwise make sure you are drinking a lot of Water. Good luck

My surgery was July 14 and I've lost 15lbs post op and 10 pounds pre op...so 25 all together yet I still can't wear my clothes that button and zip... I'm stuck wearing yoga pants and jammie pants. How long until I can wear real clothes?! Lol

Surgery monad and came home Wednesday... No complications but the pain us worse than I expected. Just focusing on getting in liquids and trying to move as much as possible

In twelve hours from now I will be having my first surgery ever!! I'm not nervous about recovery but being put to sleep and getting a catheter is nerve racking! Plus, I'm on my period :/ I'm so thankful for all the stories I've read to prepare myself and look forward to being on the losers bench

Franyfamilia this is hard but we can do it. If dieting had been successful in the past we wouldn't need the tool of this surgery. I'm tired and grumpy and hungry but a year from now I will be able to play with my nephew and dance with my friends so this is worth it. I listen to my body...if I'm tired I sleep. It sounds like u are spread thin because you take care if everyone but it may be time to make yourself a priority and elicit help with the house and animals...46 hours until my surgery and 47 hours until you check in! We are almost there!!

Also I found Vitamin Water zero helps me feel less weak

I drank iced tea and it definitely helped with the headache...hoping to keep it away I only have 70 hours to go until my surgery (counting down seems to help me get through being hungry)

Praying the insurance gets situated so you can really start planning.

I check in at 530am and surgery is at 730am

Hello everyone! I'm scheduled for rny gastric bypass on July 14...I'm excited yet very nervous because I've never had surgery of any kind before. I will be relieved to wake up after surgery lol. I hope all of you July surgeries go well and look forward to following your progress
