plastic surgeon. Just going to say it!

Ok, now you've done it. My feelers are soooo hurt! You don't think listening to all of us fuss and gripe and ask questions on here is the fun part?? Just kidding RJ. Hoping to make you smile. I can't tell you how much you have encouraged me. Even though my surgery is not until November, I soak up every word that Vets like you and Kindle write. You have every right to depend on us to encourage and uplift you! Prayers up and warm fuzzies to you.

plastic surgeon. Just going to say it!

Sweet Lady, It sounds like this guy is not up to the challenge. My advice is to move on to a better doctor. One who will listen to what you have been through and will understand your need to be comfortable in your new self. Keep researching and asking questions. Know that you are a special person and deserving of all the consideration and compassion that your struggles have warranted. Prayers for financial blessings that you need and that your heart will be healed from the hurt you have suffered.

Has everyone out there lost hair post op?

A long-time nurse told me that major surgery of any kind may cause hair loss. The trauma plus the Protein issues would probably intensify the effects. She said protein protein protein, vtamins, and get plenty of rest and stay hydrated. Like we all haven't heard that a million times. LOL

Wow! If I had any doubts that I could do this, I don't now. You are a caretaker and sleever success at the same time. I have just become the caretaker for my Mom and Dad who are 81 and 85 respectively. Surgery scheduled for November 17th. I CAN DO THIS!!! Thanks Madam Reverie.

    Reevaluating goals?

Don't ever give up. Regroup & remember your original motivation. Try starting from the beginning with liquids, purees, and soft foods. Go back to your nutritionist. Find a support group. Your health is so worth the effort. Sending up prayers for your courage and strength.
