    Dr jaime ponce Leon

I would like to know also as I am scheduled for November. I have done a lot of research and I also used to do the credentialing for a hospital so I know what to look for. Everything I have seen is a pretty positive. As well as being very well educated and trained in bariatrics, he teaches. Also to be noted is that in addition to the staples, he uses stitches to prevent leaks. If anyone knows about his team, processes, or even bedside manner, please provide the info. Thanks.

    Transfer Addiction....

My husband quit smoking two years ago. He says once you are a smoker you are always a smoker. You just choose not to light up, which is very very hard. He told me when someone lights up around him he just wants to snatch it away from them and suck it down!! Sending prayers and good vibes to help you with this issue.

  9. Best wishes for a full recovery!!! The only advice I can give is to follow your doctor's orders exactly with regard to eating and exercise. Supervised rehabilitation can give you directions in just how far you need to push to regain your strength. Keep us posted!!

    60+ sleevers please help

This thread is so awesome! I love hearing about successes of people my age (63). I am scheduled to have surgery in Mexico in November. My precious husband is very supportive and will be with me. It is so exciting to hear about those of you who are off insulin and BP meds and are feeling more energy. Keep the inspiration coming. Thanks so much.
