  1. I am struggling lately with wanting sweets. I have been staying in a good calorie range and loading weight, but fear getting out if control because of these cravings. Does anyone have any tips? Just fearful of triggering old habits and going back to where I was.
  2. Dresses seem to last for longer between sizes
  3. Have you been tracking with my fitness pal? It helps you get the right amount of protein and stuff. Strength training can make you gain muscle too which could explain slower weight lose. I also vary my calorie intake; I try to change it up every once in awhile so my body does not get into starvation mode or too used to certain eating habits. It seems to be working for me!
  4. Anyone else having a delay in their periods? I feel like a raving lunatic because I feel really PMSy but have not gotten it yet! I fear my children may run away to grandma if I do not get it soon.
  5. Okay I have not touched many vegetables because the women in our training said many would not be tolerated well. Has anyone tried a salad? I would love a salad? Or slightly tougher vegetables like cucumbers with the skin? I am fearful of the reaction so I have been hesitant but I do not feel like I am living a healthy life style without some fruits and vegetables
  6. I was told if you do not get the protein in you lose muscle mass and are more likely to lose hair. I encourage you to check a few American sites for doctor recommendations post OP. I would not want your hair to fall out!
  7. Try varying it to confuse your body, more calories or what you would consider less responsible foods in moderation for a few days then back down with extreme control and shakes that kick started me back up!
  8. Totally change up what you are doing, that kick started me. I went back to mostly just protein shakes!
  9. Trying not to be discouraged but today was a bad day. I ate eggs for the first time and that did not go well at all. As well, I have been stalled for almost a week now!
  10. Yeah, I have had nothing change since the 29th. I am being super careful about tracking everything. I hope it picks up again because it is discouraging!
  11. Those were all things I experienced! Don't panic yet!
  12. I struggled with a lot of the protein shakes. I found chike coffee one the easiest. You can get it on amazon and mix with water and it is not super thick and there are no chunks. I also have found isopure unflavored mixed in soups is good, just don't add too much you can go from fine to gross in no time.
  13. I think I have hit the 3 week plateau/1 pound weight gain, but I wanted to double check I have my numbers on things all right. I tried to post this as it's own thread but did not like the responses I got. Hopefully, July sleeveers can be more helpful. Is it 60-80 grams of Protein a day? 64oz of Water but do protein shakes count towards that number ? 1000-1200 calories a day? (I am only 4' 10") Is there a fat, carbs, to protein ratio or anything? Using my fitness pal to track my calories, carbs, protein, fat . . . Is their a maximum amount of carbs/sugar per protein shake? I had to stop Bariatric fusion because I could not take it post surgery. 30 minutes no liquids before eating and 45 minutes post eating? No more than 4oz of protein shake or protein soup at a time to avoid stretching stomach? At least 30 minutes of cardio a day? Any certain amount of fruits or vegetables? Anyone have any tips? Just discouraged! I am just about to get below 200 and have lost about 30 pounds since surgery so being stuck is playing a mental game.
