    Coffee

I never went off coffee....I am an admitted addict I put 4oz of a vanilla Premier Protein RTD shake in a Tervis with a cup of coffee at least 4 times a day. So, I'm getting 60 grams of protein while indulging my coffee addiction. SOOOOOO very yummy. I call it my Protein Latte.

Just starting - 1st Dr Appt

I am startign out a little later that you guys. Just went for my consultation with the surgeon yesterday. The only pre-op test I need is the stress test. Of course, I have to meet with the dietician and do the psych eval and one class at the bariatric center. They set up the test and eval for me, I just have to show up I have only done one of my 6 mos visits with me PCP for weigh ins and my insurance requires 6 mos. So, I should be finished are ready to have the paperwork submitted to the insurance in January or February. I have a cruise booked for mid-April so I am going to have the surgery in May sometime (if everything goes as planned). So, I have a good bit of time to wait...but, excited to get it all started.

    Any sleevers from Alabama

I am from Tuscaloosa and planning to go see Dr. Bradley Bilton here. I haven't scheduled an appointment with him yet b/c we have just changed our insurance plan at work to one that does cover WLS. I am also nervous about proving the history. I have NEVER liked going to the doctor so, other than the urgent care clinics when I have a cold in the winter, I haven't been in 8 years. I have made an appointment with a PCP for this coming Wednesday, but I'm afraid this may cause me to not get approved. I spoke to the nurse at Dr. Bilton's office and was told that my current BMI will get me qualified with no co-morbidities, but I don't know how no history will help. Have my fingers crossed tho.
