  1. Good morning friends how is everyone this week. Well my 14 day weigh in I have lost 33.3 pounds feeling very good about that. I think that's the walking that I've been doing has been really healthy. Gives me time to be by myself to clear my mind and I think get the endorphins going. I try to scramble eggs this morning I was afraid to try because many people had said that they are kind of difficult. Well what a delicious thing to eat went down fine and feel fine after. Hey everyone have a great day. Thank you for all your support I don't think I could've done it without you. I am glad now that I had the surgery no regrets!

  2. Prior to and since surgery I have only told my family and one or two close friends that I had weight-loss surgery. I'm a very positive person and I only want people who will be positive and support me to know. Has anyone had the difficulty of explaining the weight-loss at work without telling that you had weight-loss surgery? I thought about just saying that my doctor has me on a strict nutrition routine and I've been exercising. I don't want to lie but I'm not sure I want everyone to know either.

  3. Angel you and I must really be in sync. I was thinking that this afternoon. Plus 4 out of the 6 things I've tried have given me terrible gas and time in the bathroom. So far the only things of been able to tolerate is 2 teaspoons of mashed potatoes and 2 teaspoons of sweet potatoes and of course the Protein Shakes. So now I'm trying to eat a Protein shakes at least three times a day and getting tired of them

  4. Having shoulder pain is quite common after laparoscopic surgery. When the doctor first starts the surgery he/she inserts significant amount of carbon dioxide into your abdominal cavity. This expands abdominal space so that the doctor can see what he's doing. The gas is not expelled per your rectum but rather diffuses slowly out of the abdominal cavity. It is not uncommon to have the shoulder blade pain until 6 to 7 days after

  5. Hi everybody, How's everybody feeling today? I had a pretty good day spent some nice time with my sisters. Thought you might be interested in the following about the Panera bread and what they'll do the customers great! Someone said a while ago that it was good when you're on your puréed or full liquid to go to Panera bread and get a bowl of their broccoli cheese Soup blend it Well today I was out and about with my sisters who have helped me so much since my surgery on July 8th and I wanted to treat them to lunch. At Panera I asked if I could get a cup of broccoli cheese soup and if they would blend it for. Well they did and I ate 1/4 cup and took the rest home for a couple more meals. I just thought you all might want to know.

  7. Angel, it takes me two times. Once in the morning I walked just around my block at a pretty slow pace because it took me 30 minutes to go .89 of a mile. Then my good friend who is like my brother went with me and we went to a little lake on the north side of Denver and walked around it. That's a little over a mile so altogether it was 2.3 miles. I could not of done it in one time. And I do walking at fairly slow rate. You know it's interesting my lower back hurts less now than before the surgery when I try to walk I don't know I don't think the 20 pounds made all that much difference. Just do what you can at your own pace. Don't rush. You'll get there I promise
