Hey Girl, I'm right there with you I want to go to Mexico I haven't made a date yet, I'm scared of failing, I love food, Its my only lover I've really ever known, although I'm married food still wins, Is this the right decision for ME?? I hate being fat, I own horses and yes I still ride, I'm the fatest person at the team sorting events, people look at me weird or at least I feel like they do, I'm at least 250 pounds, I would like to get to 140, so 110 lbs and I'm 5'4". I think you are so brave, I hope the best for you!

Your awesome cowgirl!! LOL!!!
Tearbear- trust me...the tool does work! When your stomache says your full " you will know - an be satisfied. Some ppl say I eat like a bird. But I get full on smaller portion and don't have the desire to eat more. They are used to me eating massive unhealthy amounts. Not any more. I've lost 85# now and my desire to be a couch potato has now turned to being outdoor and enjoying life!! I like jacks saying, your not giving up food , you just eat less and have the same satisfaction as if you ate the other way. However, it took me 3-4 months for my eyes to trick my plate it was smaller.

Thanks everyone, You where all sooooo good with information and support, If I have my surgery in Mexico would you suggest going to a nutritionist or just bariatric pal for info, I live out in the country, two hours to anywhere. So hard to make it to a doctor once a week, I don't have alot of friends or support people, I'm a cook at our school and this worries me as well. P.S Ya team!

I'm a week out of surgery and I have to set the timer on my phone for 15 minute intervals, so I don't forget to eat. Totally different experience for me. I'm use to chewing my toenails, so I won't eat. I'm only a week out, so not an expert at all, but don't worry about the eating. It won't be a dilemma. Your new stomach will give you the big "NO", if you want to overeat.
What do you think of having surgery in Mexico??

I'm pre surgery and I'm so afraid I won't be able to say no to food after the surgery, and my husband will say I told you so, Don't get my wrong he's a great guy but I really do like food, should I be concerned?? Is there any one out there with the same worries??
