  1. I loooovvveee popcorn too! However I just didn't go to the movies. Hahaha. I don't know that I could be that strong, I swear they pump that smell into theaters! You do what's best for you but I wouldn't suggest cheating. This is going to be your new life. Know that in time you will be able to have a little popcorn. I am 9 weeks post op and had to bake my dad a birthday cake last night I usually will eat some of the batter from the bowl. Once I dumped the batter in the pan, I immediately ran Water in the bowl and put it down the disposer. Took about 2 seconds for me to do that to avoid temptation. Today we are having pizza for his birthday I will not be eating that either. I will just make sure I eat before we go.

  2. I can drink everything that is on my program just fine. I can drink at a normal speed, I have never had to sip. Now when I eat......I can feel the restriction, I practiced before my surgery recognizing that I am full so I do not push my limit. I have never had anything come back up or slimed, I don't burp or hiccup either. I know when to stop. There has been once or twice I think I can have one more bite about the size of my pinky nail and decided after I chewed it that I better not swallow it and spit it out.

I am 2 months post op. Down 91 pounds since the beginning of my journey. Sorry about the pics. Refused to take a good picture before and I am sad about that now I have about 37 pounds to make it to my first goal. Don't know if I will go further after that or not. Feels good to be losing though. I'm fit back into my wedding dress the other day. post-221807-14141110461422_thumb.jpg

Not perfectly but at least it went on.

  4. I was there for two days after my surgery and I took a shower both days. I had a binder too. The nurses threw it on the bed while I was in the shower, I had no idea what it was, my husband said the nurse said I could wear it if I wanted. So I didn't wear it until I got home. Big mistake I should have to it on immediately. It is a God send. I wore it at least two weeks maybe a little longer, it helped sooooo much.

  5. Oh girl, I was in your boat not too long ago. It's tough, hang in there, I promise it will get better. I was miserable, I finally got my energy back (most days). I can exercise again, get all my Protein in and all my fluids in. It takes time to adjust. I know it's a big adjustment. But you are about to the turning point. Energy is the last thing that came back for me.

  6. Has anyone used resistance bands to work out. I work out at the YMCA as far as walking, jogging, biking, etc. I used to walk at lunch time at work but now that's it's getting cold I just don't want to sit and waste an hour sitting at my desk so I bought some resistance bands and I am going to start dong that at lunch time. I was just wondering how they worked for some people that have used them.
