    smoking

I totally understand. I couldn't quit before surgery either. As a matter of fact, I had 3 the morning of the surgery. However, I quit after the surgery. I was so scared of infection. As a result, when I tried to smoke, I didn't inhale it to my lungs, which means the smoke stayed in my mouth. It was so disgusting, I hated it. I got upset few times later and lit up a cigarette. However, I made sure not to inhale it and I was disguised again. I am smoke free since end of May. It hasn't been easy since my mind wants it but I found the technique to hate it once I cave in.
  2. Hi All, I created this thread so people who did their sleeve surgery between May 19-25, 2014 can support each other and follow each other's progress. It would be great to have a support group with people who are undergoing the same stages in the journey. Let's all help each other. It is sure getting harder doing it alone as time progresses.
  3. Don't worry about the pre-opt diet. I personally didn't have to do it. I did my operation overseas. The doctor didn't ask me to follow any pre opt diet. All I had to do was stop drinking caffeine 1 week before surgery. I had mine on May 23 and I am doing great. By simply having the surgery, you won't be able to eat much and you will follow the required diet. The mere idea that if you don't follow doctor's orders can have severe complications, you will absolutely follow it. That's at least my experience.
  4. What is dry brushing? And what is the purpose of moisturizing??
