  1. Hey everybody, Hope you all are doing well. Yesterday I had my 1 month post op appointment. I'm down 20 pounds since surgery and I feel great. I retuned to work yesterday and I am still finding my way back into my normal routine. I will start to incorporate cardio and strenght training next week along with my normal walking. NSV: I put on some gray pants that use to fit me skin tight and now they are so loose that they are almost falling off. Its an amazing feeling. I am even wearing heels today and my feet don't hurt from all the weight I use to carry!

  8. Honestly I only changed my calories and not the others. I may need to look at that and to be very honest because I'm eating sooo little right now I haven't really given those much thought. Cream soups: Panera Bread in Metarire on Vets has some good cream soups I tried the autumn squash and the creamy tomato. (Very yummy) I had to add Water to lighten the texture but the flavor was still tasty. They lasted me about two days each.
  9. Yeah that will be so cool!! My next appointment is on the 17th of this month. Please let me know if you have any questions I'm sure we are on the same nutritional plan.
  10. Chell I haven't had that happen either. When is your next appt. with your surgeon?
  11. @@krispv777 Unfortunately I don't. This has been my support group for the most part. Your doctor and mines work at the same location. I had my surgery preformed at the Slidell location and I my post op appointments are in Metarire. Have you been to any support groups yet?
  12. I'm with them I use MFP. Even though I eat less than recommended it still is a great tool. If you decided to use it again please feel free to add me. Lovelytrl

  17. Hey everybody!!! Chell- you go girl!!! I may do the Cresent City Classic here in New Orleans when it's time. I currently been walking 2 to 4 miles a day. Anyone has a fitbit? Please feel free to add me lovelytrl. I'm excited about the outcome of surgery but I'm deadly afraid of next week! We are going on a 7 day cruise. My family and I go every year. With all the food options I'm offered a variety but the experience of food will be sooo different. When you only can get a few bites in before you are full makes it weird during the dinning experience but I'll be surrounded by family so I should be okay. After surgery I took off a month so I'm scheduled to return on November 17th. I've been getting messages from my co-workers telling me how much I'm missed but I needed this month off to reintroduce myself to my new way of living plus that's what FMLA is for. Congrats to all the Sleevers that are finding their way and all the soon to be Sleevers who will join us in this great journey! Tamicia
  18. My surgeon checked my incisions and even cleaned one of them (by my belly button) and gave me additional care instructions. I'm sure if you mentioned it he would have. Maybe at your next appointment mention it to him and sees what he says.
  19. Good to see everyone is doing well. I finally got in two miles and I feel amazing! Can't wait until the new fitbit charge HR hit the market!!! I just seen a commercial on YouTube it's a pedometer and heart rate monitor. Two birds, one stone. Until we all move to the other board I'm posting twice☺️

  21. Hey lovely ladies! Peek- I love your energy on here! You push us where the push is needed! Chell- I'm so happy the egg worked out for you. Unfortunately it didn't work out for me yet because it felt like it was stuck in my throat until it came up and out. oatmeal has been my saving grace yall. I've been eating instant because I'm terrified of the whole oats now. Glad to see everyone who has surgery adjusting to the changes. Everyday gets better!
