My husband had most of his stomach removed in 2004 due to cancer. He is very thin but never big to begin with. He is anemic and needs Vitamins. His surgeon told us then that people can live without any stomach,, the intestines will do the work. The doctor has never worried about his weight.

So preop appt today. Weight was 465. Over 70 pounds gone in 2 months. Can't wait to have my tool in place.

OK I just had a appt with the dietician at Herr in hospital today, and I lost 16 pounds in nine days, a huge motivational lift! Thanks to God for the strength to keep pushing on!

I'm on two Protein Shakes a day, and a very small meal have to lose 95 pounds before surgery, anyone have the same type of path?
