  1. I've had some hair loss, but the strange thing is I've lost about half my eyelashes! Hapened at 3 1/2 months.
  2. Self employed. Took one week then back full time, no problems. Office job. Sitting at home thinking about food was too annoying.
  3. I have 6 and one really hurts. I don't have pain pills because the hospital forgot to give me the rx. Seriously. I could call the doctor but I'm afraid they will upset my stomach so I'm just dealing with it.
  4. Completely agree! I can't wait to eat an egg. Or anything other than these protein drinks.
  5. On my way to the hospital too. Not too freaked out yet but I still have time
  6. I'm the 13th too. So ready to get this over with. I only have liquids for 2 days before now just 1200 calories. But I'm hungry. It's worth it.
  7. I've been big for so long i don't even know how to guess! I would be excited to be a 14. I can't even imagine something less!
  8. I go on the 13th. One week from now at this time i should be all done. Crazy! My pre-op is 1200 calories. I'm hungry but not dying. Ready for the next step but starting to get nervous!
  9. Some girls at work got me all freaked out that they would cancel. So far so good. See the foot surgeon tomorrow.
  10. My white cells always run a little high. My doc did lots of testing and it's fine. I hope they can straighten it out, I may be in similar situation and it's so frustrating!
  11. Supposed to have surgery on the 13th, in one week. I had a foot surgery a few weeks ago (plantar facia release) and they took my stitches out Friday. My wound popped right open that night. I went to Urgent care and they tried to bandage it basically and gave my antibiotic. I really don't want my surgery canceled! Especially if that means my pre-op diet is wasted. I am going in for pre-op physical in an hour, I really hope I don't get bad news. I know I am being a baby, but after sooo long waiting you just really hate to have to push it back. Just needed to vent to those that would understand!
  12. Amusement park rides! I love them, and I am sick of standing on the side watching longingly as others ride!
  13. I started pre-op yesterday. Mine isn't liquid though, just the last two days are liquid. It's 1200 calories and 80 grams of Protein. So I am doing one 40 gram shake and doing food for the rest. I was hungry yesterday but it wasn't horrible. Lots of planning though. Which is probably good practice. I can't leave lunch at home and go through a drive through, that's for sure!
  14. Got my date today. October 13. Diet starts Monday. Can't believe this is actually happening!
  15. I just got my approval yesterday! One day after it was submitted, so excited. I am looking at October, maybe the 13th. I go for my scheduling appointment on Friday. So ready for this part to be over.
  16. Dropped off the last of the records. Should be submitted to insurance today or tomorrow. I am sooo nervous!
  17. Awesome! I just met with Eibes today and am switching over to him.
  18. Thank you! That's what I was thinking too, as long as it was different months.
  19. I have to do the 6 month diet for insurance. They are counting a couple of months from a few years ago, so this year I went/will go April, May, June and July. My question is, do you think they need to be one month apart? My June appointment is the 23rd and I really would love to go sooner in July, but do you think I need to wait about a month from the June appointment? Didn't know if anyone had ran into this issue. My surgeon is over-booked and I am afraid it will take forever to get on the surgery schedule, so the sooner I can submit to insurance the better.
  20. I carry tons of weight in my stomach. Ugh, I hate it! I hope that's the first place I lose, it, but all my luck it will come from my ankles or something!
  21. I work an office job too, my surgeon said if you are flexible with your work, for example, you can go home early, come in late, etc. you can go back after a week if you feel up to it. I know when I had my gallbladder out I took 5 days off and was fine, but I didn't have the tiredness from not eating after that. My friend who had it done a couple of years ago took a week off. I would plan for more though just in case and if you feel ok then go in, maybe half days if that's an option?
  22. I just found out my 6 months will be up in July! They counted a couple of months from a couple of years ago. Super excited. They won't give a surgery date until insurance has been approved and one of the surgeons in the office left so the one remaining is super busy. I am really hoping for August, but I don't know how likely that is.
