  1. My surgery was July 23. I have only lost 34 pounds. I'm slow at losing too. I am just doing my best to stay on track. Keep working on my protein and water. At least I am going down and not up. I do have a lot of problems with my vitamins. I can't seem to get all of them in. The calcium is so bad! We can do this we have come to far to give up now.! Plus you have to feel better, I do.

  3. I had my RNY surgery July 23. I lost 30 pounds before my surgery date. I am now up to 34 pounds since July 23 my surgery date for a total of 64 pounds. It just seems like 34 pounds since July 23 is not much. It's coming off but very slow. I walk 3 to 4 miles a day. I am not getting in all my protein. I do try bug it's hard. Should I be worried ?
  4. I'm 4 weeks post op. Doing good BUT I can't get in all my vitamins. I do the capsules better than the chewable. The calcium is like chalk and the multi is not much better. Anyone else have problems? I think I'm just going to buy some new ones.

  7. IM two weeks post op and I have some pains in my side. I know I'm healing but how long will this last? I can't walk much more than a mile because I cramp and have these pains. I have always walked at least 2 or 3 miles a day.
  8. Today is the first day I can't get protein in. I have tried a few flavors but it come right back up. I also am feeling sick to my stomach. I have no idea why. I'm two weeks post op tomorrow. Why now? Will this pass? No energy at all
  9. I had rny bypass on July 23 right now I'm on protein shakes but I go to the dr. This Thursday, I'm sure I will get to go to soft foods. I'm feeling hungry and ready but scared too. What are some things that you all tried first?
  10. Congratulations! My surgery was 7/23 a week and one day ago. I am doing well too. I'm on protein and water or jello until I go back August 7. It's been ok so far! Got to make these changes.

  15. Need to have a good cough but I'm hurting to bad???? how long will this last. I don't want to mess something up.
  16. I only had to do a protein shakes 2 a day and one meal, today I am all clear liquids ..... I have a headache but it's because I'm hungry. I am just trying to keep busy. I have lost about 9 pounds in a week doing this. Surgery tomorrow ????
  17. its almost here. I have done the hard work to prepare my body! I'm hoping it all goes smooth. I have to be at the hospital at 9 am in the morning! Please say a prayer for me
  18. Day 2 of pre op diet I'm starving and a BAD headache! Please let this go by fast. I'm so ready. I'm just doing my best to stay busy. Walking ALOT!
  19. Casey999 I would love to have a buddy! I'm super excited and I wasn't scared until I got my date, but I am so ready for this. I have been working really hard to get my body ready for this!
  20. I have my surgery July 23! Go for my preop on the 17 th and I am ready!
  21. I was approved today as well. So now my dr should give me my surgery date. I can't wait!
