  1. 1 week til my life starts over! Good, bad or ugly!
  2. I was told together tablets and non time release then crush everything the first 6 weeks except the chewable a and liquids etc. personally I'm afraid to take the pills since we can just sip so I'm find with crushing them if needed for as long as needed .
  3. So today I have one friend who had the lap band and she says that the cut muscle was so painful she needed help getting up out of bed and had to sleep in her recliner for several weeks. She has a has been there who is ready to help at any time. She seemed very worried that I wouldn't have anyone here with me after two days. 1-2 days hospital then 1-2 days help at home. From what I've seen on here everyone seems fine after four or five days. Now I'm nervous that I didn't make their arrangements. I'm a single mom and we have two dogs that need taking care of in our house:( tell me what it's really like those first seven days home.

  5. Thanks you guys. I don't have any property for a will and was not able to get life insurance so the only thing is gay would happen to my son. Sadly he has a dad in the state who sees him 1-2 times a year but he wouldn't let my mom have him and that is who he knows because she helps me with him after school. It terrifies me thathe could be sent to live with a man he barely knows. All because I couldn't do this on my own! Dang! It's done and happening I just gave to pray now for a positive outcome. Because he needs me! Thank you.
  6. People have plastic surgery all the time so why am i so worried about this? I'm so scared of a complication, I'm a single mom. If anything happened to me my poor boy would be alone. Dang why can't i stop worrying?
  7. I know they stressed get a good night sleep. Yah right! Good luck!
  8. I only really liked the cappuccino and the caribean cooler and only over ice but they do still have bad smell and aftertaste and I feel hungry right away.
  9. Wishing I had life insurance! I tried months earlier and they all asked about any upcoming procedures surgeries so I couldn't get any. Makes me nervous since I'm a mom! That's the only thing I'm worried about , do e stupid comic action that might keep me from my child. Otherwise bring it! I'm ready to live again!
  10. I am also Nov 6:) I had to do my preop Bloodwork a month before so I am not sure but I would assume good unless you hear otherwise. Normally admitting will call a few days prior to make sure everything's set
  11. Totally felt that way anytime I did shakes that were low carb and when I did media fast they told me because it's low xsl, low carb, low sodium maybe my blood pressure was to low. They had me eat a few pickles?
  12. Yes I have had a preop diet since I started the program in May which should consist of 1200 calories 3 meals all Protein first then veggie then complex carb then fruit. Basically eating clean no processed food. If you follow it then it's low fat. Low carb, low sodium, low calorie . Since this started for me in may I followed it most of each week and still allowed myself to eat some things I wAnted on the weekend or special outings. I've been losing but def not as much as if I had done it 7 days a week. They also want no snacking, no waster with meal etc. then 2 days before surgery it's liquids. My program wants people to learn to eat better not just a 2 week liquid diet right before surgery. I'm glad. I do replace meals now toward the end because I'm trying to become more used to just liquids but the really want us eating food not shakes until post op. My doc said he was happy with the 20 something I lost and I was glad because I know I prob dhould have list closer to 40:( Surgery is around the corner and I think I'm prepared now. Good luck!
  13. Can anyone tell me how much good they are consuming 6 months and a year out? Are you able to eat more thans few bites if you go out with friends or the one who can only gave a few bites and puts the rest in a to go container?

  16. Must be a different kaiser he is not in south sac .
  17. You are welcome! My program has no real good for over a month which seems harsh but I'm sticking to it I want my new tummy healed perfectly. I've heard people eating real foods within two weeks. That scares me:) Here's to our new life's! ????
  18. Here you go.. post op.pdf stage 1.pdfstage 2.pdfstage 4.pdfstage 5.pdf stage3.pdf Hope they come through.
  19. I'm going to post the docs as promised I can't figure out how to do it from my PC of course lol
  20. Omg it sounds horrible! So was thus because of reflux or your new tummy not healing properly? How can it be prevented?
  21. When I get the headaches it's low blood pressure from no or low sodium. Check your bp I used to have to add in a pickle
  22. I'm going to be careful who I friend on this site apparently there's some strong opinions about those folks who don't feel the need to shout my surgery from the rooftops. This post has made me really rethink my conversations. Pretty sad that someone saying that were liars and somehow morally corrupt (not raised that way) because were not out telling people that we have lost weight by having weight-loss surgery. I don't think this is a healthy debate I think it's left a very bad taste in my mouth.
  23. I would try putting your favorite Crystal light into a popsicle molds. I love Crystal light (rasberry ice). I want to buy the ones in use Greek yogurt and fresh fruit I know postop I can have it but I don't know about your preop.
  24. I totally understand where you're coming from. My mom picks my son up from school every day and almost daily when I come home there's more crap food in my house and junk food. My sons been having a bad reaction when he eats sugar so he's only supposed to have a treat after his homework and he supposed to have a healthy snack when he gets home first before his homework. I even told him that on the ride home from school when he called me but when I get home I find out that in the car on the way home he had five pieces of candy. I know she heard me tell him no sweets until homework done. Then in the evening when I'm getting lunch is ready always find candy bars and cookies and cakes. No matter what I say almost weekly I end up with container here with some kind a baked good that she's made. It's a losing battle. When people are helping with your kids it's hard to put your foot down:(
  25. I'm anxious to hear I have not found one that didn't upset my stomach. usually I look for sugar free made with Splenda but there's so few things. Postop the pudding and Greek yogurt will be my treats:)
