Hi, I'm a 27 yr old 5'5" 220lb female who is getting banded at the end of October. I've tried soooo many diets in the last 20 years and no matter how much i lost the weight always came back. Though I am excited to get lapband, i am scared and nervous about the unknown long term effects. i am also concerned about having a child someday, even though i read child bearing is not a problem. I hope to learn more about other people's experiences - pros and cons!
