So different for everyone..I went for my six week follow up and didn't get a fill..I get full very easily and drink well..Surgeon said weight loss was fantastic and that I had no need of a fill. My band has no saline. I guess its placement is really tight but he said that could change..I could need a fill in a few weeks. So you really can't compare yourself, it will all come together and work just fine. Best of luck to you.

So very true. Hardest part is not comparing yourself to others! I have a hard time with that.

I'm so sorry that your support system is lacking. That first liquid stage was the worst..when you get to full liquids it should be better for you.

You need 4 to 6 weeks to completely recover! Wth? Are they serious ..I didn't do anything but rest, walk, and take care of myself for a week!

My preop diet was the sugarbusters diet. What is your like? I was so glad that mine wasnt liquid.

Had to go back to liquids the last few days. Still feels tight in my chest. Going to stay on liquids a few more days. I am feeling better though.

Depends on your insurance. Once my paperwork was submitted I got an approval in 5 business days.
