I got insurance approval on July 22nd, and finally was called today to schedule my surgery for August 18th! I am excited and a little scared. So happy I found this site for support and advice! Hope to connect with others on this journey too. Looking forward to changing my life!! Life starts at 40, right?

Congrats!!!! I am looking forward to being in your shoes a short 6months from now. I just had my meeting with my surgeon today and have a road block the insurance company has but in my way. I will get there soon enough. Good Luck to you with your surgery! I wish you the best.

Jumping through all the hoops from the insurance company was a pain, but you will be done before you know it.
