  1. I was sleeved 7/14, which means that including preop I have been eating liquids and small portions of soft, low carb foods for over a month. I have to say, I'm missing eating. Obviously I was addicted to it, which led to my situation. But I'm having a hard time adjusting to how much I want to eat versus how much I should eat. Seeing just a few tablespoons fills me up physically but not mentally. Anyone feeling a little like this?

  2. I was sleeved July 1 and doing well. I lost 10 lbs pre-op and 15 more in the first two weeks. I have been stalled for almost three weeks. I lost 2.5 in the last few days but it is frustrating. I see my Nut and Dr next week and am hoping my stall will be over soon. I think what is frustrating is that I believe I am doing everything right. I haven't even eaten out once. I cook all my food. I must say I was a nervous wreck prior to surgery and feel great this last week and a half just tired due to working long days. I am excited for everyone on their journey! Best of luck.

I'm stalled too and it is frustrating but I still feel thinner. Clothes are loser. Image in the mirror is smaller. Trying to focus on that while the scale is stuck. Hope your stall is over soon!

  3. Hey everyone! I am new to the site and new to the Sleeve. I had my surgery on 7/30 and it is now 8/1 so I am 2 days out. I have a few questions. did anyone gain weight after the surgery? I started my 2 week liquid diet at 421. the day of surgery I was 399 now 2 days out and I have put a few lbs back on. it makes no sense to me. the only thing I have had to eat was 1 egg and 2 oz of chicken puree. is this normal? I have been drinking my Water like I am supposed to, today I had about 56oz of the required 64oz. did anyone else experience this as well?

It's just all the fluids they pump into you. Don't sweat it. It will be gone before you know it!

  4. Hi everyone! I was sleeved on July 7th and have lost 18 pounds postop. i was wondering how much weight have others lost in that time frame! Im not sure if I have lost as much as I should.

My 3 week stall came early. I lost 14 pounds the first week but only 3 pound since. I know I'm not moving enough but I still thought the weight would fall off at only about 500 calories a day... Hoping to get over the stall soon

  5. I'm two weeks out and starting soft foods. I'm having a hard time gauging how much to eat at once. I have noticed I can eat one boiled egg and half a cheese stick but anything more makes me feel right in my throat. Tonight I tried soft meat and what I thought was a right size portion. I felt good so I ate two more bites and now I have the fullness pressure. We are supposed to stop before this point, right? How do I know when to stop before the pain begins? I'm thinking particularly with new foods. Once I eat it, I get how much I need...

  6. Wow. Gottadosomething I soooo look forward to cheese... Today I braved a real chocolate Protein Shake (not clear)... I used Premier Protein from costco. first I diluted it with equal amounts of Water, so it wasn't so thick.. first few sips... OOOOO soo yummy to have something other than a fruity flavor.... then....For those of you who haven't tried to do this yet.... lets just say.... STAY CLOSE TO THE BATHROOM!

I did not have the reaction to cheese like I did the shake... No bathroom needed and I actually got to chew something. Best of luck!

  7. Hell guys I was also sleeved in july....my surgery was on the 1st and I'm happy to say that I haven't had any problems the day of surgery I was 268 and I'm currently 255....... I was last weighed on the 10th and I haven't lost anymore weight....is that normal?

Sounds like the infamous 3 week stall... Not looking forward to mine but at least we know it's coming

  8. I completely feel your pain. I only told my parents and husband and specifically said not to tell anyone as we live in a small town and word travels fast. Well, my husband told his family. I am not a crier but I certainly cried I that. I feel so betrayed and hurt. I really chalked it up to his not ever having weight problems and not understanding why it was such a big deal to me to keep it a secret. It simply wasn't his secret to tell.
