I had VSG last month..I feel like im on a low carb diet. I lost more weight pre surgery on low carb high Protein. Yes I eat less and am in the soft food phase but I get really hungry every 3 hours. I have yet to feel full. I measure out 4 oz servings. Mostly Protein. I have had no problem with Water intake.

I Hope and pray this small stomach helps me maintain the weight loss that I will have. In the past I have always put the weight back on plus some.

Milk of Magnesium. They have sugar free too. I would take tonight and see what happens in the am.. Wow I would have done something after a couple of days. Well I did.

The last couple of days I have much soreness. All activities of daily life. Bending over bad. Im still sleeping flat on my back unable to turn due to pain.

Im really taking it easy. I have to.

So Im wondering if anyone has experience with this? Im hopeful that it will go away. I also wonder if my new stomach hurts? You know inside my body?

Im post VSG 8 days out..I noticed today out to lunch with my daughter that I drank a whole glass of decafe iced tea and 6 oz of chicken broth. Thai place that I knew I could eat their soup/broth.

I too am slow in recovery. Im out and about now but really sore. I do still take the pain meds and am much better with it.

Crazy to write that date. I feel like its going to be one of those special dates I will remember for ever..
