    Stall in loss?

I am 13 months out and have been in a stall for two months. I was wondering if anyone has a few tips to move this along. Two months seems like a long stall. I have lost 80 lbs since surgery and 12 before the surgery. I feel great but am ready to take off the next 40 lbs.

I did ok with my goal to walk 10,000 steps and even did a little exercise bike. But I have been in a stall for six weeks. Back and forth with 2 lbs. My goal this week is to get to the gym and get on the treadmill. Hope to get the scale moving again. I will never give up. Happy trails to all!

    Can we ever have cake?

I made a cake yesterday and tasted the icing and cake. Later in the day I did not feel good. For me I am going to stay away from sweets it is not worth it. But with that said, sometimes it is not easy to stay away from cake and other sweets. Do what works for you as we are all different with our tolerance to sugar after surgery.

    Eating too fast

This has happened to me and now I pay attention when I sit down for a meal. After years of mindless eating, need to remind myself to eat slow. I hope this helps.

    2 Days Post Op

It will get a little better everyday. Someone in my support group told me listen to what the doctor and your support team tells you and stay the course.
  12. Anyway, I feel great but still have fatigue. Anyone else have this after Roux NY?

If you're following your NUT's instructions, you should be good to go. I'll find out near the end of January when I have my blood tests.

Hi! Dr. Mecenes did my surgery on Dec. 16. I spent two days in the hospital and was out of bed five hours after the surgery. Walking very slowly down the hall. I had rny gastric bypass surgery. Right now I am feeling tired with minimal pain. I try to sip my Water every 2 minute and getting the Protein in is getting better. I was very happy with Cayuaga hospital and the staff on the step down floor were amazing. I went to many support meetings before the surgery and this helped me a great deal. Dr. Mecenes is an excellent surgeon. I felt the whole experience has been very positive. Today is day five post op and the more I try to move the better I feel. Maybe just a short walk through the house. I am taking about 2 tbls. of motrin in the morning and 2 tbls. before I go to bed. Would love to hear from you and maybe we can encourage each other through this amazing journey. Happy Holidays!

Back pain- will it get better?

Thank you for you reply concerning insurance wait after submitting. I also have a small herniated disc in my back. I was told by members of my suport group that my back will feel better as the weight comes off. Good luck with your surgery and I will keep in touch.
