Hi all quick question i was banded on october 2. got my first fill three weeks ago (went very well) infact the docter could not believe that when he was filling it i wasnt feeling the restriction he put 8 cc in my 14 cc band . He stated he was not going to put in any more and was quite certain that i would be back in for a unfill/.. herers the problem everything is going great did not need to go back but i am worried that i have my band that full just on my first feel and am acturally thinking about going in for another fill, getting hungery >>> anyone else this full on the 14 cc band or fuller.......... anyother comments welcomed thanks all for your time just a note i was 217 before surgery, 201 day of surgery and now 185 but have been stcik on 185 for last week and a half actually gained 1 and a half back:hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry:

magazines heating pad, chap stick, sugar free tic tacs, portien water, gas x stips and anything that you will like to have by you while you are laying on the couch .. good luck to you

i got banded on october the second of this year and i remember getting the same simular thing kinda like a hiccup-burp only would hicup once though lasted about a week and a half

i was also banded around same time (october 2) felt restiction for the first week becasue of the stomach swelling to what i understand i am on full solid and i do get full quicker then i did before (i think) aslo been worried here about streching my pouch but from what i understand it is hard to strech the pouch before you get your first fill. if i am wrong i hope someone corrects me that has been banded for awhile, good luck all,,,

i am pretty much eating anything i want, but i have not had any bread, ice cream or any of the white high carb things. been loving meat and trying to stay away from the high calorie foods

he all i got banded on october 2, lost ten pounds since then but the last three days been gaining all three days anyone else have this happen also? I also just got back from local hospital have a tennis size lump above my port dr there wasnt sure but figured it is a blood clot, has anyone heard of this also all compents welcome and appreciated

Weell my name is jennifer i am 30 years old 5-2 and was 216 pounds one week before surgery. i was in the hospital a total of 5 hours from when i checked in til i checked out day two was the wrost for me. i was not eating or drinking anyting, maybe 1/4 cup wter total in over 30 plus hours. up until yesterday four days after banded i could not drink nothing but water was too full feeling, that cought upo with me could not stay awake so tired, finally last night i drank about 2 ounces prtien shake and this morning another two ounces and bout 1/4 cup of soup. I was losing at least two pounts every night, i would wiegh myself every six to ten hours. wieghed myself today i actually gianed a pound but in a total i have lost total of 30 pounds in three weeks and 11 pounds in 5 days need to quit getting on that scale. and get over the fact of the one pound gained. lol no in much pain at all still a little shoulder pain. good luck with all and would love to hear if anyone lese is have simular cases

Seven days to go before my surgery, i have a few concenrs my doctor put me on the lquid diet i was to start three days ago in order for my liver to shrink. I've tried the liquid and i make it all day then the next day a cheat ( now instead of 10 days liquid i have seven), is it ok/ Also my doctor said he would not do the surgery if i smoked ( which i have for 15 years and i told him i quick i am now going only on day 4 with out a cig.) Justt alot for me to give up with no help, i am certain it will be much easier after the banding. Last and least does everyone after being banded still crave their goodies, and do you have them does weight have a difference on the complications of the surgery? i am 5'2 218 pounds :help:
