  4. NSV - I found out today that I can wear my size 16 jeans (with a slight muffin top) zipped and buttoned. I haven't worn this sizze since I was 16 (almost 12/13 years ago)

    Check in: Last week 200 : today: 197 MADE IT TO ONEDERLAND and met my goal !! since I still have a few more check ins to go my next goal is 190 or (50 lbs lost total)

    so close to goal and yet so far away. Goal is 199, weight today? 200. loss of 3 lbs though so that's good. (and 40 all together)

      Great job! Hope to see you at the support group at TMC Saturday 8/2/14. We are moving that day, but since I still can't lift anything over 20 lbs I really can't do anything to help. I'm not weighing until I see Dr. Welle on 8/6.

    Curent weight 202. down 3 lbs. If I keep this up. I'm going to have to have a new goal...so close to ONEderland I can taste it.

    What to do with my hands?

    slightly off topic but, that should keep you busy for awhile. Please let me know what you think of the game. I'm a bit unsure what I think based of the trailers. As for what to do with your hands, you can always come here, start a new book, do some crafts, volunteer at a local charity. Anything really that will keep your mind engaged and not thinking of food.

  14. So close to ONEderland. Congrats. Mine is 5 lbs away today. Stalls are no fun. I hit my first mini stall about a week and 1/2 ago. stayed the same weight for about 6 days and then lost 4 the following week.

    Goal Weight: 210. Starting weight 225. CURRENT WEIGHT: 209! I did it!!
  19. I never did understand why people use "you eat like a bird" with a negative connotation. it's just plain stupid, a bird has a high metabolism and is consistently eating. A bird eats about 1/2 it's weight in food daily and still remains thin. No human can eat like a bird although, I for one would love to be able to eat 1/2 my weight and stay thin. that being said, it's a judgmental comment whether it was meant as small talk or not.
  20. hmm for starters: Has it been awhile since you last lost weight (and you are not in maintenance mode)? Is your weight not moving getting you frustrated? Not sure how to get the weight to begin moving again? Sounds like you've hit Stall. Don't Sweat it, come learn how to get past the stall without pulling your hair out... Having not really hit a stall I'm not sure I'm on the right Idea here, but it's a start for a description.

    Well, It's not the best because of the sodium in it, but Beef Jerky (or Turkey Jerky if you can find it).
  22. I think a good place to put it would be under the Basic for Beginners - especially because from what I seen a lot of the stall posts are in the post op forums and general discussion. It could be : Pre- Opp ?'s Post- opp ?'s What ever the name of the stalls subform is. (my vote is don't sweat the stall stuff.)

    From what I've read on the forums, It's very common to enter a stall during the 3rd week post op. I hit a mini stall in my 3rd week, Keep up the good work, I still don't get all my Protein in but I keep trying.
