If I remember correctly, you were having quite a tough time at first! Glad to hear you're over the worst of it.

I had the lap-band May 28th:)

How is it? originally was going to have lap band but then doctor, therapist and weight loss specialist all recommended sleeve but really scared and nervous but excited also.

So far so good:) I considered the sleeve but was told not to due to weighing under 200lbs. I forget I have it. Im back in the gym for 40 mins during my lunch and weights for an hour after work. My diet has changed dramatically as well. Only eat about 800 calories a day and I'm satisfied. Gonna keep pushing everyday, best decision by far.

I weighed myself I believe on Monday and I had lost 5lbs, then I had my Dr.s appointment yesterday(thursday)and they weighed me and it showed 7lbs lost!! I will be weighing myself at the end of every week:)

It's possible but your band won't work it's magic till it's adjusted properly so no need to be scared.

Call your doctor to find out if you can drink something else. And no..you shouldn't be scared because you are hungry. Some people are hungry from the get go. It just means it will likely be challenging for you till you have correct restriction

Thank you all! Surgery went well. I was extremely nauseous and in a lot of pain all day, threw up it was horrible. Luckily today I woke up feeling 100 times better!
