6 wks later, an 40 lbs down..

Lots of sugar free Popsicles, cream soups an broths.. I also did protein shake for a while but I got burnt out really quick. I no eat the quest bars for my protein needs. Each bars had 21 grams so I do 2 a day, but I spread that 2 out all day since I can only take a bite here an there;)

    Actively TTC?

Me an my hubby want to ttc very much but my dr is very persistent about us waiting at least 9 months before ttc. I was recently sleeved on 5/28, an I'm already down 33 lbs! Went from a size 22 to a size 16;) On another note 1 week after surgery I started cycle, an it lasts almost 2 weeks! That might sound bad to some but for me it was great considering with my pcos I never have a normal 1. To my surprise exactly 1 month later I start again;) Already starting to regulate! Congrats an good lunch on ur journey, an hopefully we will all soon have a bundle of joy;) SW 290 CW 257

    PCOS and telling my friends

Hey ladies, I just turned 27 on Father's Day an I also have pcos. I have had since I was 15, but was never properly diagnosed until I was 23 an me an the hubby were trying to conceive. When I was younger the obg would say that my irregular periods were just hormones! As I got older it got so bad that I would got months without a period an then I would get one that would last a month! it got to the point that I would wear a pad everyday for that just incase... I would be ok in morning start by lunch an then get home in evening and gone again! Then wake up to it:( Horrible... Horrible... Horrible I tell ya! Fast forwarding to my current situation... My fertility specialist recommended the sleeve due to such a high success rate, so I got with my insurance company did requirements an got it done! I was sleeved (Laparoscopic) in Houston Tx by dr Scarsborough. Had surgery on 5/28/14 an started cycle about 4 days later, but it only lasted 2 weeks! Yea I no that sounds long to most but it was incredible for me, since I'm used to the 2-3 month one that's off an on! Lol.. I still would wear a pad just incase it crept back;) lol.. When I left hospital I weighed at 290 an today I'm 263, so that's 27 lbs in exactly 1 month.. But get this I'm 4 sizes down to!! Incredible journey so far that amazes me more every day:) Good luck to all of you, an lets kick pcos' butt!!! you, an lets kick pcos' butt!!! Oh yea.. I told everyone about my surgery! I'm a very blunt person an I can care less what they think. It's NOT the easy way out, thus is sooo much harder! I was very excited and anxious to get surgery done an my family an friends were to! They all new what me an the hubby were going through trying to conceive an were very supportive of my decision.

    Former Fatties! July Goals

I've turned my garage into a mini gym! Lol.. Bought a bicycle machine, and a ab lounge XL. Thinking about adding an elliptical, but when I get on at the gym i barely last 5 min! Smh.. I get out if breath so quick, I'm trying to build tolerance for more cardio... Any suggestions?
  10. Yes!! Sounds just like me! But the Pepcid complete has worked miracles for me. As soon as I feel it coming I take one an it must work instantly, cause It stops;) I even bout the generic cvs brand
  11. For my protein I just started using the jimmy dean breakfast bowls. There only 2$ an some actually have 28g of protein! I'm eating off an on it most of morning an lunch but hey it's ALOT better than the protein drink that I'm way burnt out on!
  12. I stayed the sane weight for almost 2 weeks. When I say same it would fluctuate up a pound an down a pound. I stopped weighing after the first week of this an waited 5 days an weighed again an was down 6 lbs;) When I left hospital I was 290, an yesterday morning I was 263

  16. Ok everyone, I haven't been on in a while. I have been on a stall the past week an half:( But finally went down again today;) getting all Water in, about 60% of Protein in but I'm trying. Working out doing lots if cardio but I'm thinking I'm gonna need a trainer because my arm are really flabby now! I'm a little amazed on how flabby with a 30 lb loss! Shocking... Sleeved 5/28 SW 290 CW 263 Also for a NSV: I normally would wear a 20/22 but went to mall an could fit in a 14/16!! I couldn't believe it;) All I can say is just because scale is not moving, were still losing in inches
  17. I had a hernia repair durring sleeve surgery an I have to be honest an say I have never had an reflux or heart burn issues until sleeve an hernia repair. My first 2 weeks out of surgery I constantly would get if:( Now I get it a few times a wrk depending on what I eat but when I told dr about it he told me not to use Pepcid but Pepcid complete. It has worked wonders;)
