Sh3iz got a reaction from BelievinginME in Where are all my May Sleevers?
5/27 and Im down 30 from surgery 45 including preop diet. My struggle is that... Sometimes I eat too quickly/ mostly because my job forces us to do so- as a hairstylist in a volume salon breaks r few and far between at times.... So ya chomp down when ya can.. I eat around 600-800 cal a day as well- and weather permitting try to get 2-2.5 miles in. Feeling good no regrets

Slow weight loss this week but I know I wasn't getting all my Protein and liquids everyday. Some days not getting my normal walks- basically a very busy week for me... But 2 lbs is good. Some of my family( when asked) said they hardly noticed a difference- thanx! My aunt however said I looked great! I see a huge difference already- unfortunately I stand in front of a mirror alllll day long so I can't help but to look

@@boccob81 I read somewhere on the forums that posture problems and weird muscle deficiencies that cause you to walk funny happen as the weight is rapidly lost. Basically your back and shoulder muscles are overcompensating for a stomach weight that's not there anymore, plus your abdominal muscles aren't fully healed from surgery yet. Best advice I found is to simple walk tall, sit straight up. If you're having trouble with your leg muscles though I'd be worried you're not getting enough Protein and your body is eating your muscles as fuel instead of fat.
NSVs: I had to wrap string around my wedding rings today to tighten them up because they fell off my hands while washing in the bathroom. I also researched how to alter button up shirts so I don't have to buy all new for work just yet, just have a lot of sewing to do. I also went outside wearing a sleeveless shirt, to the grocery store, without an overwhelming sense of shame and self-consciousness. My upper arms still aren't nice to look at, but I just felt better about myself so I did it.

Good morning everyone! I just got done weighing and I'm thrilled. My weight kept fluctuating on the scale up and down over a pound while I was standing on it like it was possessed. I finally realized my hair bun must be leaning on the wall or something, so I scooted it out from the wall a foot and not only did it stop the fluctuating nonsense it showed 3 pounds lighter!!! I stepped on it 3 more times to make sure. Lol

Ok everyone, I haven't been on in a while. I have been on a stall the past week an half:(
But finally went down again today;) getting all Water in, about 60% of Protein in but I'm trying. Working out doing lots if cardio but I'm thinking I'm gonna need a trainer because my arm are really flabby now! I'm a little amazed on how flabby with a 30 lb loss! Shocking...

    Also for a NSV:
I normally would wear a 20/22 but went to mall an could fit in a 14/16!!
    I couldn't believe it;)
All I can say is just because scale is not moving, were still losing in inches

Wow everyone's making really good progress! Even with the "stalls" some (like me) were experiencing this is still a lot faster than I could have ever lost on my own willpower. Congrats to everyone!
So far, for those who posted on yesterday's weigh in, as a group of 12 ppl...
We lost 92 lbs combined pre surgery.
We lost 336 lbs combined since surgery!
The average loss per person 28 lbs.
    The median loss is 27lbs.
The most lost by one person is 46 lbs.
Impressive! Keep making the hard choices to stick to plan and keep telling your stories!

    Hi Everyone, two things...
    1. Week 5: May 27-31st Sleevers up and running, make the migration and be sure to favorite it.
    2. All requests for the private Facebook group, Please PRIVATE MESSAGE Sh3iz or Lylabelle with your name and information. Publicly posting it on the thread is NOT GOOD because
Your personal identifiable information is now made public for forever. I work in a cyber security firm and this is BAD and helps people target you. It's detracting from the conversation about our recovery. And most selfishly for me it's causing a million update emails that keeps me thinking people are posting stories and its not its your name and emails. THANK YOU everyone for walking with me in this journey and I'll see you in Week 5 thread!

Hello everyone and welcome to week 5 of our sleeve journey! Thanks to @@lylabelle for admin'ing the group so far. Let's have our weigh in on Monday as usual and I will be glad to keep the new threads going for those of us who choose bariatricpal to keep in touch throughout our journey each Friday.
Seriously, we need to think of a group name. I nominate "Quarter Cup Club" and "Sleeveless in Seattle" and "Walk Forest Walk" anything other than may 27-31st sleevers
And personally, i'm going to hit 10k steps for the first time since surgery today. There was a fire alarm at my office so I thought, I'm gonna take a walk and came back an hour later haha!
Reminder: please direct requests for Facebook group access to @@lylabelle and @@Sh3iz in private message, not on the thread. Thanks!

Tomorrow is 4 weeks out and I'm down 20 lbs SINCE surgery! I went to torrid last week and for a swim suit on clearance- no biggie really but they were having a BOGO on clearance so I grabbed a pair of jeans a size smaller- thinking these will fit me one day. Out of curiosity I put them on ya home and they fit perfect! Yeah sure I has noticed some room in my old clothing but I didn't realize I was down a size already!
    Hope everyone is doing well.

Woohoo! Getting closer to the 50lb mark! Hope everyone is doing well. Puréed foods have done me well. No more diarrhea, and much nicer to eat! Been using my nutri bullet almost daily and it's been so great! I had one problem with eating too fast though. I went swimming with the fam on Saturday and I think I got too hungry. Threw up a tiny bit, but was fine after that. It's a learning process, so that was my time lol.
    Happy Monday ya'll!!
