Officially 20 lbs down since my surgery on 7/24. I was expecting more, but I am really happy with how my body is changing and how my clothes look. 1 more month and then shopping!

October 6th 2014 Whoop Whoop

I am doing really well. Healed up very nicely. I'm on day 8 of a stall though so that is exhausting to check the scale and see no change, but my clothes feel a bit better, so that is a plus. I remember waiting for my appts and surgery, felt like it was taking forever and looking back it seems like time flew. You'll get here soon!!

Been in a stall for 7 days now. On the positive side I can finally see how my clothes are fitting a little bit better.

I hit 260 lbs today, I haven't been that low in years. I'm so happy. I can actually see some of the weight off my body especially in my legs, boobs, and a small bit in the tummy area.

Day 2 post op and I feel better. I was being tortured yesterday so this is a big relief.

WOOT WOOT! I am starting to see NSV in my clothes. Just ordered some "smaller" sizes to get thru the summer and into the fall FINALLY a victory I am HAPPY about! Do the HAPPY DANCE with me!!!!!

Guess who just got their date?! This chick right here!! July 24th I lose a part of me (% of my stomach) that I'm confident I won't miss overly much and will result in my losing a bigger part of me that is a burden (my fat).
-
@Missbaisah: I'm going to start a post on my day of surgery, I saw someone else do it, and I will update it once a day for a minimum of 30 days. Congrats on getting your date!
@Ima Fox: I would love to see how your recovery goes compared to mine!
Thanks everyone!!

My dog Max had to be put down last night....I am so broken hearted....can't stop crying. A sad time for me.......
-
Had my scope yesterday, everything went fine even though my insides didn't feel quite right, I imagine they weren't too happy with a tube being shoved through them and being biopsied. Results on July 9, cross your fingers no more H. Pylori!

Hi. My name is Misty, and I am addicted to smoothies.

This waiting is terrible. I thought once I got all my appointments and requirements done it would be so bad. I cant sit still waiting for a date.....

Nothing like hearing the pride in my daughter's voice as she introduced me to her teammates. "Well, THIS is my Mom!"
-
Just checked my patient portal, and apparently my surg has officially submitted my paperwork to the insurance even though I still have to do my endo and be cleared of the H. Pylori. That was unexpected but I am pleased. That says to me that I will get to pick my surg date on July 9th as long as my H Pylori is gone (and my insurance approves)!

My psych eval finally came in, whoop whoop. I got a call yesterday from my insurance (UHC) and they have put me in a bariatric program and I have been assigned a Nurse case manager who will call me in 2 weeks. So that was unexpected and frankly kind of cool. 1 week until my pre-endo appt! Keep on keepin' on.

Turned in my psych eval yesterday, as well as my PCP approval, and my oximetry machine. No sleep apnea, yay!! All that's left is my proof of fat for 2 years and my endo on June 26.

I am more than happy to listen! We all have a journey that got us to this point and everyones journey is important. I think that your goals are attainable with the tool and that it is wonderful that you have such a great support system at home!! If he loves all of you now, just wait and see what his reward will be when you get to where YOU want to be!
