juliacleone......which book? WOuld like to read it. I had my first fill yesterday, got 4cc's, have had slight nausea at times but nothing major. It is soooo hard going back to liquids after eating, I THINK I need to eat buut no real hunger.....habits are so hard to lose.

Thanks! I will have to remember that. Oh, anyone had a problem with milkshakes or icecream? I had a vanilla frosty, well half of one and I thought I would asolutely die from the discomfort. COuldnt throw it up, just felt like pain in upper stomach, took gasx and it got better after an hour or so.

Just wondering....how many are having constipation? I have it quiet a bit lately. Also, I too have the slight pull on my left/port side, I sleep on my stomach usually and it is a little uncomfortable but better as time goes on. How soon after surgery were you able to eat salads? My doctor says wait until after 6 weeks.

Hi! Banded 9/18. The weight is slower coming off but I too am experiencing the inches are vanishing! It is almost like a new wardrobe when you can go into the closet and find all of these clothes you havent worn because they got too small. I will be travelign to southern Calif. the last 2 weeks of October so I can not get my first fill until the 2nd week or so in November, oh well......wish me luck whiel traveling it is a bit scary.

Hi! I started on mushies last night, 2 weeks post-op......wow, that must have been the best soupy mashed potatoes in the world! It was delicious! Had thinnned grits for breakfast, southerner here, and they were awesome. Ate about 3/4s cup, and felt a little full so stopped. Best of luck to you!

Hi, Went to MD today, was banded on 09/18/07, I have lost a wonderful 10 pounds....wasn;t easy but sure was alot easier than not losing 10 pounds. Thanks for all of the support!

Good Morning! Today is day 9 banded for me. It has been very tough on soem days and easier on others. This 2 weeks of nothing but liquids is just about to drive me crazy. I am not hungry at all because I eat/drink 4 ounces every hour, but, gee I miss chewing real food. The end results is worth it all, I have lost 6 pounds since day of surgery, yay!! Good luck to all!
