  1. No need to feel guilty. You don't owe an explanation or apology to anyone. It's funny when people ask about your diet or what you're doing to lose weight. They glaze over because it's actual work.
  2. LOVE IT! Looking like a bad ass fit chick to me.
  3. You are a bad ass doing boot camp. Keep your dietician updated on your fitness program and calories burned. See what they suggest. Your stats say you have 55 to lose. (Not sure if that’s correct) If you choose to take your trainers advice and up your calories, protein, and carbs. keep and eye on the scale to see if it slows/stops your weight loss. Your diet may change and evolve as your fitness level increases. You will be looking at your calories burned, metabolic rate and fitness goals. @BlueCrush is a great mentor.
  4. By the way eight months out and 167 down..WOW, fantastic! Sounds like you still have great sleeve restriction. If you can’t hit a protein goal, you can always add a shake to bring the number up. Most dieticians want us to ditch the process shakes and bars and eat whole foods for a long-term sustainable diet. Your restriction may become a bit less as you progress. It may get easier to get food in. Hope you figure this out. Let us know what your dietician suggests.
  5. I had to get out of my tom boy outfits to keep up with you and @sillykitty amazing taste in clothing *envious of your tailoring skills * your are rocking that body!
  6. You can always call your dietician for clarification. I'm a sleeve. My dietician set 60-100 grams for male and female patients. (all surgeons have different plans. )According to your stats you are approaching goal. Your diet plan is going to change again to maintain your weight.
  7. 60 to 100 is my dieticians standard for male and female sleeves. Whatever his/her dietican sets his protein goal at.
  8. 60 to 100 grams of protein is a normal range from dietitians.. if you can hit that goal with real food there's no need for shakes or protein supplements. Without logging I hope you're hitting that goal. Your surgeon should have let you know that the hair loss is normal. It will stop and your hair will grow back in
  9. Hi Tom, So you're a few months out and still in weight loss mode. I would follow your bariatric dietitians advice and hold off on following a trainer's advice. Log your food in a food app. Track your carb intake. If you're adding fruit as a part of your carbs make sure they stay within your weight loss carb ratio
  10. Missed Tuesday. Transformation out of my workout gear.
  11. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. Even if its just going through the motions for approval. Hopefully you get something out of the sessions. This is just another hoop to get to surgery.
  12. Dang…Now I’m over the top envious. Ugh ruined my day *laughing*
  13. Cute jeans! I’m envious. I have 50 year old flat butt.
  14. It will get better Sometimes your energy is lower while you heal and adjust to your calorie deficit. Its ok to start out slow and build up. You are going to get stronger as you progress.
  15. I don’t think you can predict if it’s going to get worse after surgery until you are post op. The psychologist gave you their professional opinion. Is it your choice or a required pre surgery? I had a counselor that help me deal with many aspects of rapid weight loss. Thankful she was there.
  16. Fantastic loss and congrats on getting your health back. The last pounds are frustrating. You have less body fat to burn my friend. It’s ok if its slow. You will get there.
  17. Weight gains can mess with your head, Right. This is a bump in the road. Just one more thing to overcome. Did you talk with your surgeon’s office about your iron levels and weight gain?
  18. Laughing* We want to see the new booty. Post it
  19. Woohoo! great NSV. Congrats and rock that pair of jeans.
  20. The corset is designed to move your rib bones over time. Reality, weight loss did more for my mid-section and shape than the waist trainer. Weight lifting was a game changer for my curves/shape. Also fills out my loose skin a bit.?
  21. laughing* Yep all surgeons plans are different.
  22. Hi and welcome to the site I am on myftnesspal. I still track and log my food. You are welcome to look at my food diary anytime. My user name is fit_chickx Is there a reason you still drink shakes at year post op? Can you hit your protien goal with real food yet? myfitnesspal food app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myfitnesspal.android&hl=en_US Here is my dieticians recipie website for food ideas. 23. I’m sorry to hear you struggle. Regain can beat you down mentally. As you can see on the site, you’re not the only one with a regain or had a revision. Its not easy to get back on track.... its work. But, It can be done. It's not for me to say if you have stretched your surgery back to full size. That’s between you and your surgeon. You may want to consider counseling before a revision. If you’re eating behavior is not addressed, you may stretch your next surgery.
