By the way eight months out and 167 down..WOW, fantastic! Sounds like you still have great sleeve restriction. If you can’t hit a protein goal, you can always add a shake to bring the number up.

60 to 100 grams of protein is a normal range from dietitians.. if you can hit that goal with real food there's no need for shakes or protein supplements. Without logging I hope you're hitting that goa

My surgeon told me to get 65 g of protein in per day. The dietary reference index says 0.8 g/kg which would put me at 99 g per day. Thanks for thoughts on hair loss. My visits with surgeon are
Howdy everyone. How are you getting in enough protein from natural sources. I am 6 months out and have never tracked my food. I just ate the foods that I was told I could eat and ate some of the recipes from here. I mainly eat meat then follow with some vegetables. I got to noticing that my hair was thinning. I take a multivitamin already so I figure it was from not getting enough protein. When I track my protein it is 60-70 a day but I should be getting closer to 100 I don't wanna eat more. I was told to get most of my protein from natural food, but last few weeks been eating protein bar for breakfast because they are higher in protein than couple eggs for breakfast.
