1. Protein helps your tummy heal and feeds your muscles while your body is in "starvation" mode. Our body doesnt need to burn muscle, it needs to burn our fat. If you are looking unflavored, Isopure and Unjury both have excellent unflavored Proteins. What has your NUT or surgeon set up for what you can have at this stage? I was on liquid the 1st 2 weeks. I just started pureed.< /p>

Doctor wants me on liquids! But I'm getting tired of Water, crystal light, and pedialyte

  2.
This too shall pass. Seems to me that you are about right on track....Your body is dealing with a lot right now. Be kind to yourself and rest when you need to. Also try Premier shakes. Not bad for being a shake. Try to keep your electrolytes up too.

sip sip sip....

Allow yourself the time to heal. This is part of it all! K :)

Where can I get premier? And m I allowed to have that? I'm so confused as to what I can have and not. I keep researching thing and some contradict each other.

  3. I was also out the next day! But had to go to the emergency after a couple of hours of being out. I could not swallow pain meds and the pain became unbearable. The gas pain is the worst. Then when that is all gone you feel extremely sore. I had surgery 6 days ago and still have some pain. The worst part is learning how to sip and wait for that pain to go away before you can take another sip! I'm hoping this gets better. On another note I have lost 14lbs so far yay!!!

  4. Hello! I also had gerd. My doctor actually encouraged me to have the sleeve. My heart was set for the band. I had surgery on Friday May 9th. During surgery they had to correct a hernia that was cause by my acid reflux. I'm happy so far with the sleeve. It is painful but I know that it will be all worth it at the end.
I would suggest you talk to another doctor.
    Good luck!
