  1. Thank you all for the support and great suggestions. I will call my doctor today to find a support group. I also will start to track my food. I am down 27 pounds in 5 weeks but when I ate those foods like the slice of pizza or ate the Nutella, I fear old habits. I have never learned moderation so it reminds me of the past when I would diet and then go off plan. I eat well during the week. Usually, I'll have a GNC Total Lean shake for Breakfast, a yogurt or sliced deli chicken for lunch, and turkey chili or rotisserie chicken for dinner. But, I had a small ice cream cone and I feel like a failure because I have always been all or nothing. I need to seek help ASAP to adjust. Thanks to you all.
  2. Hello, I am a little over 5 weeks out and I am starting to fall into bad habits. I had an ice cream the other day. I had two drinks on Memorial day. I ate Nutella during my period. I even had a piece of pizza. I am so afraid that I will not lose weight. I am worried that I stretched out my sleeve. I need to reevaluate and make some changes fast. Wow this is what I was afraid of.
  3. I am 5 weeks out and eat pretty much everything I want. I wish I didn't. I am starting to choose the wrong foods.

    Cheating!

    Thank you for this thread. The "tough love" responses are what I needed to read. Seeing that I am not the only one struggling lets me know I am not alone in my struggle. I have to get it together. I am 5 weeks out and I am NOT doing the right thing lately.
  5. You look amazing! It doesn't appear as if you have any excess skin. I'm shocked to learn you haven't strength trained all along. Keep up the excellent work. You are inspiring!
  6. Thank you all. I do not feel that you are being mean. I am grateful that I have this forum. I was wondering if there was anyone else who has done this and if so the outcome. I had a few sips of wine at a fundraiser. I am more concerned with eating food that I shouldn't be. Since I know being obese is a disease of the mind for me, I am very conscious of the changes I need to make for long term success and he fact that I am non-compliant now scares me. I am in therapy to address these and other issues. I guess at times I get so hungry or thirsty that I think "oh, what could happen?" On a positive note, in 20 days I went from 216 to 194.6. Almost 22 pounds! Thank you again for the support and I hope I could use this forum as a place to help me on my journey. NMR
  7. Hello. This is my first post. I am two days shy of being three weeks post op. I should be eating Phase 2 foods. I have had pot roast, shaved chicken breast and a one egg omelet with cheese. Yesterday, I also had a few sips of wine. I also tend to drink a sip or two before and after meals. Is there anyone who has done this? What was the outcome/ I know I shouldn't be but I keep doing it. My days consist of: 1 Isopure drink (Breakfast), 1 yogurt for (lunch) and usually an egg and cheese omelet. Nut i had pot roast yesterday. Thank you all.
