  1. Was sleeved Monday at 8am, Spent the night in the hospital due to pain and nausea could barely keep water down. Been home since Tuesday at 2:30, Have been doing pretty well since then, No pain when I'm drinking, No heart burn..Today I got 40oz of liquid in and 60grams of protein..
  2. I experienced it today at 3 day's out as well. I've been getting in a good amount of liquid so I'm not really that concerned about it, I just assumed it's from the extra fluids in my system and maybe reserves from the laxative I had to take the night before surgery lol,
  3. I was sleeved this past Monday and spent one night in the hospital due to nausea and pain. Been home since 2:00 Tuesday and have been holding down liquids now pretty well, My tummy was looking for room temp. I notice though, Every time I take a sip I burp...It's not painful or anything but I was wonder if the burps were caused from me doing something wrong?..Drinking too much, Too fast? Or is it just something that happens.
  4. @@barbclay the pain meds are the hardest to get down, I tried 2 last night as prescribed but I almost puked so I've been sticking to one if I need it. I feel like I'm doing pretty well as far as liquids go, still not hitting that 64oz goal but am getting about 30oz a day.
  5. @@barbclay how do you feel now that your home?, Got mine Monday morning and spent the night in the hospital bc of pain and nausea. Home now but still in a good amount of pain.
  6. Doing a little better today, still in a good amount of pain but at 3 days out its what I expected. The pain/nausea meds are definitely doing their jobs. No real protein yet, have only been sipping on water managed to get about 25oz in since last night. Found out my tummy preferred room temp water, the cold makes me feel a bit sick and it's harder to get down.
  7. Hey everyone im finally home, Got discharged around 2 today. Feeling a little better, was sent home with anti nausea meds and pain meds. Going to camp out in the livingroom tonight in the recliner. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers!
  8. Nope just tried some jello and water, it came back up.
  9. It went well, I'm still in the hospital in lots of psin and nausea.
  10. Looks like surgery might start later then 7:30. Been waiting to register since 5:30 and now it's 6:09, Ive never seen a waiting room so crowded at 6am!
  11. @@darwinlady33 don't make me turn around now and go back to sleep. My alarm just went of lol.
  12. I was told to take mine at 10am. I'm not aloud to have anything after midnight. My husband isn't making today easy either.. "I had two cheese burgers, fries a smoothie and I'm still hungry" as he eats a pudding cup with one reserved on the side.
  13. I didn't have to do a liquid diet. Today (the day before) I'm on nothing but clear liquids and a nice fat 10oz bottle of nasty liquid laxative :/
  14. Lucky you! I have to leave my house at 4:30am.
  15. Tomorrows my day! I'm really nervous but ready. Put a topic up about it on the Pre-op board and I'll continue to post there.
  16. Thanks everyone! I'm trying to stay comical through it all lol. It helps me relax.. Got anything funny to share? Joke, story, tv show?..Doesn't have to be surgery related, but it's welcome!
  17. So tomorrow at 4:30 in the bloody morning!, I will be heading to the hospital to have my surgery.. Surgery time is scheduled for 7:30 and I have to be there 2 hours early. I'm nervous and scared, But also excited ready to get it done and over with. Thankfully my husband took off the week to spend with me, I will be home same day if everything goes well. My young daughter is staying with her grandparents in Maryland till Wednesday, Miss her already So everything is ready and set into place, Going to try to make it out today (Or send my husband out since I'll be on laxatives) for a few last minute essentials: Heating pad and Isopure.. I will update here come tomorrow morning when I get to the hospital, Or beforehand if I'm feeling nervous.. P.S. I already have an escape plan set up from the hospital in my head, So if you all don't hear from me tomorrow check the news stations they'll probably be covering the story of the crazy woman from NJ with her butt hanging out of a hospital gown terrorizing the town.
  18. It also has Whey Protein Isolate in it...
  19. I'm still Pre-op till Monday (The 8th) I found something called Pocket Protein, It's 20grams of protein for 2oz and taste a lot like a 5hr Energy shot which is not too bad. I tried the unflavored Unjury and it was disgusting couldn't do it.
  20. @@4ALongerLife Oooh that's a good one, Love that song!
  21. Ok thanks. This makes me feel a little more relieved.
  22. Was just curious on how many times you got to visit with your surgeon before surgery? For me, I had my consultation appointment May 14th 2014 and that was the first and last time I saw my surgeon. I tried getting another appointment, but because it is summer and he's a busy man there was no availability. My surgery is September 8th and I'm getting a little nervous especially since I only met this man once and now I have to trust him to do surgery on me. Did anyone else have this experience with their surgeon and do alright? I guess a lot of people who go to Mexico have this experience and do well..
  23. The original poster had put up a topic in the "Pre-op" section of BP titled "Bariatricpal scared me Sh**less". I don't think any of the comments were negative as they were trying to be real and honest with you, I read through ever one as I was one of the people that commented on it. People are still posting under the thread even though you've made it quite clear your not ready for surgery, and that's fine..But you can simply delete the thread if you no longer wish to hear the opinions of others. You seemed to take offense to some of the options others had. I've never had a negative experience here, yes there have been thing's said that I didn't want to hear, but I needed to hear them most of the time..
