Tomorrow's My Day!

  • Popular Post

So tomorrow at 4:30 in the bloody morning!, I will be heading to the hospital to have my surgery..

Surgery time is scheduled for 7:30 and I have to be there 2 hours early.

I'm nervous and scared, But also excited ready to get it done and over with.

Thankfully my husband took off the week to spend with me, I will be home same day if everything goes well.

My young daughter is staying with her grandparents in Maryland till Wednesday, Miss her already :(

So everything is ready and set into place, Going to try to make it out today (Or send my husband out since I'll be on laxatives) for a few last minute essentials: Heating pad and Isopure..

I will update here come tomorrow morning when I get to the hospital, Or beforehand if I'm feeling nervous..

P.S. I already have an escape plan set up from the hospital in my head, So if you all don't hear from me tomorrow check the news stations they'll probably be covering the story of the crazy woman from NJ with her butt hanging out of a hospital gown terrorizing the town.

Good luck halloweenbaby24. Can't wait to read your updates!

Yay, good luck. Can't wait to hear how it goes. I feel pretty lucky to have a 12pm surgery time now.

Good luck and best wishes tomorrow!! Hope all goes smoothly for you and we don't hear about you on the news! Haha

@HalloweenBaby24. That part about the escape plan, hella funny. You got this. Just focus on that sweet baby waiting for you. If nerves are really bad, ask for some pre medication. While in the pre op holding area, I asked for a Valium was given one. That may of been the reason why one minute I was looking at the guy insert my iv and the next I was waking up! I'll be checking the news, don't let me see you on there. Lol. Blessings

I'm trying to stay comical through it all lol.

It helps me relax..

Got anything funny to share?

Joke, story, tv show?..Doesn't have to be surgery related, but it's welcome!

HalloweenBaby24,

Good luck on your surgery. I hope it is uneventful and routine. I also wish you an easy recovery. Walk as much as you can to get rid of the CO2 gas and prevent blood clots.

I heard a joke on TV that comediene Joan Rivers said. I'm paraphrasing: I'm so old now I can now get a mammogram and a pedicure at the same time :) . I can SO RELATE. At the age of 49 and having weight loss surgery, I've gone from a 48C to a 42Long. I need a border collie bra--one that can "round them up and point them in the right direction" ;) .

Blessings,

Kathleen

Best of luck to you baby on your surgery tomorrow sending you positive thoughts happiness for our new lives! I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 so looking forward to tomorrow at this time it being all over having a new beginning:)^_^

@@Dotti Came quick didn't it?!

I am Wed. Same time 7:30, have to be there 2 hours early also. I will think of you tomorrow!

Wow... I just thought about the intense panic I'm going to have when I'm laying there in hospital saying to myself.. This is irreversible and cutting 80% of your stomach out .. Ahhhh! Have to focus on the fabulous new dresses I will be able to fit into and the extra activities I can do :-)
