About Me

  • Gender
    Female
I had my surgery on August 1st 2013. I stayed in the hospital 2 nights. It was has hard the 1st couple of days, but up hill from there. I only started having problems once I started eating. I could not swallow anything. I even had trouble swallowing water at times. I kept thinking this was normal. On my 6 week visit I told my doctor and he didn't think it was a problem at first because I didn't have significant weight loss. I had good normal weight loss but not a excessive loss. They told me if I kept having problems just to call and make me an appointment to get my esophagus stretch. It was so small I had to have it done twice. 2 weeks apart. I haven't had any other problems. I have lost 86 pounds. I haven't exercised like I should. I do get nauseated some times still, but it has been the best decision I have made in a while. I went from a size 18 to a 4 or 6. My last doctor visit they said I should continue to lose weight for 2 years.
