  1. I agree with everyone's comments. I have told very few people I am having surgery in just over a week. One of my friends is being negative but I know she just is worried and thinks its drastic - she has never been overweight so she does not understand how we struggle.

Do what's right for you! Everyone else does! :D

  2. I am pre op but my facilitator told me I would be very fatigued. She said if I even walk around the block it will tire me out. I think its probably normal. If you are worried you should call the doc and maybe get some blood tests. Always better to be safe than sorry.

  3. 22 days till my last appointment before surgery. Getting nervous but excited. I hope I'm one of those stories that there was no need for pain meds and the weight is falling off with no stalls lol. I'm ready for whatever I'm given and will work with it and try to be successful. It'll be interesting to see how my body reacts to surgery and how I lose. Everyone's so different. Good luck to all who are undergoing surgery and working hard to conquer this battle!

We all have the same wishes and good luck to YOU! Happy Monday!

  4. **By not eating processed food/carbs my diet is not healthy and I can't sustain a weight loss**

Oh ok, so when people used to farm and eat off the land that was a bad thing? So eating processed food/carbs is a good thing? This was coming from a personal trainer.

**Just lose the weight on your own**

Oh, ok, thanks for that advice, I couldn't figure that one out!

I know so many people who just don't eat at all and then criticize heavy people. I'd rather be overweight than anorexic.

  5. Do hormones play a big role in weight loss? Is my breastfeeding hindering losing pounds?

**I would say that hormones do play a big role in weight loss. I don't know that much about breastfeeding, you may want to ask someone who has had that experience.

Do you have any suggestions to help me get on track? I feel like my brain is still in pregnancy mode and that I'm still growing a baby...
**start tracking your food. Find out how much you should be eating during breastfeeding.

Would doing a week on the liquid diet help at all?
**only if its healthy and doesn't affect breast feeding

Is there a possibilty that I've stretched my pouch? Did I screw up royally by getting pregnant and ruin my chances of being skinnier again?

**Having a baby is not a mistake, its a blessing. You can get on track again. After pregnancy it could take a long time for your body to readjust again. I would talk to your doctor and don't panic. :D
