  1. Hi, I am 39 years old, mother of two. 5.7 and 230 pounds. My new life begins on the 7th. I will be happy to get down to 130-140. Can't wait!!!!! I only told my husband, my sister and my aunty about it. I know it is going to be hard but yet easier than it is now with all the weight I am carrying. I live in Ireland and I will have the sleeve done in Romania. Looking forward.....

  2. Hi All!!! People can be evil!!! even Love ones!!!! I have type 2 diabetes, kidney issues, liver issues, and I'm 33. I want to LIVE LONGER for my husband and child. I will do this surgery no matter what!! But why do folks feel the need to say

" Oh you taking the EASY WAY OUT" ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! That strikes a nerve in the worst way!!!!

Is it really the easy way...because last I checked being overweight since I was 5 has been difficult! Having any surgery is not a walk at the park....especially recuperating... Having this disease is NOT AT ALL EASY!!!! if LOSING WEIGHT AND EATING HABITS would disappear than fine that would be easy but it's NOT!

This time around I'm hesitant to tell folks what I'm doing because of the STUPID comments......

    Your thoughts please!!!

That's the reason I don't want to share it with many people...just with my husband, sister and my best aunty... I have a good support from them and the 'friends' don't matter. I only need people to encourage me as I get very nervous getting close to the big day...good luck and ignore them

  3. OK here is my Grandma's Old Fashion chicken Soup Recipe. (Yes this is still the way I make it at home :))

1 package of chicken parts. (we like the legs and thighs best since after banding breasts can be dry)

    1 large onion

    1 head of celery

    1 package of carrots

    1 box of Ronzoni Orzo

Chop up all the vegies, put them and the chicken in a large stock pot cover with Water, bring to a boil and let simmer for 2 hours.

Make the Orzo in a separate pot, strain and serve with chicken and soup.

Easy peasy...no fat other then what's on the chicken parts that makes your stock or broth...and you can salt and pepper to taste.

I make it the same only noodles instead of orzo
