    Weight loss stall

My doctor recommended to go back on fluids for few days. It works for me.
  4. I decided not to tell and I am happy for my decision as I listened to some comments of my mother - in - law saying that she doesn't understand these people (like me -thank god I didn't tell her) having their stomach cut. She is a size 24 lady and advised to drop some weight but she doesn't bother instead she judges others.
  5. I know it so well but I hate getting sick so I better blend the food. I cannot wait to be able to chew again. I noticed losing more weight when I go back to liquids. I am also on 4months old baby food..soon I will be 6 months..lol
  6. Hi guys..same here...everything in blender..feeling much better on clear soups or cream soups. Try it..all the best...

    Help how to slow down

Hi Jackie, I am nearly 3 months out and still have this problem..I try to eat 2-3 spoons and take a break and start again. I have huge issues with chewing...not chewing enough and get sick soon after I swallow the food.
  9. Wow..you look amazing n0ble
  10. Thanks Ann! I had a check up one month post op....everything was fine. I think chewing is one of my problems. Baby food consistency is fine like yogurts, mash...I thought about flying back if it doesn't get better. Tonight I had meatballs soup and was much better. Solids are my enemies for now.
  11. Ann my biggest problem is my surgeon is 2k miles away so we communicate via emails. Anyway, he says it happens in some cases and to go back on fluids when it happens....to bad it's verry often. I also noticed I feel worst when I am very stressed and unfortunately I am a worrying person.
  12. I just found your post now....I was sleeved on the 8th July and also hernia and lipoma fixed. I am in bed now, sick after I had a bite of salmon and a bite of an egg. I feel much better knowing I am not the only one with issues. I don't regret the sleeve but I am so confused with all the sickness. I still cannot eat solid food without problems. I did lose weight -about 25kg (55lb)- but I am just so fed up sometimes. I wish you all the best ang good luck on the weight loss. Hugs to you all.

  19. Hello friends, I am ready, waiting to be sleeved. I less than 4 hrs, i hope, my new life begins.
  20. I am also on the 8th July ( initial they said 7th) and I am all over the place..I wish you all good luck and ignore all the bad reactions...I don't want to share it and my husband also asked me not to share as we don't want to deal with this type of things..my journey is not an easy one and it's my decision which it should not be " judged" by anyone else...yes i did diet most of my life..just didn't work...I want a better life and I fell this the way to have it....I try to stay positive ....good luck again to you all and I hope next week to be able to share some positive post-op. things.
  21. Good luck and come back with great results! Look after yourself!
  22. Hi Lambada, I heard the doctor in those countries are very good, kind and looking well after their patients. I hope your doctor is one of them and a good support for the, beginning of your new life. I don't know much about my doctor either, but he speaks my language at least. All the reviews are ok but you know we are all so different. I wish you all the best on your journey and good luck on becoming a 'big loser'.
