  1. I was just talking about that with a co-worker sleever, being scared after I ate all that restaurant serving salmon. but I only took two spoonful of rice etc. I've lost 50lbs, so I think I need to kick up the exercise. I'm right there with you
  2. Finally reach Onederland, yay!!! Walking faster, less back pain and faster recovery after a busy ICU day.
  3. . Water helps with the constipation, I didn't have to use my miralax but it was on standby .
  4. I am still trying to get a routine on vitamins and water but did lose 13 lbs. Looking forward to post -op visit then work. HW 240 SW 229 CW 216 Happy so far, so much easier to lose than the pre-op lost
  5. I've had a surgery before so that was reassuring but post op I did celebrate being alive, lol. It also motivated me to get up and walk, and to get over my stubborn self in the hospital. I didn't want to add to the risk of the surgery. That risk motivates me now, so calculate the risk and conquer your fears. Good luck
  6. My husband is away at work most of the day, I prepped with shopping before hand. My energy was up 3-6 days out. There is a home visit schedule, guess for wound check. Make sure the person who drive you home can drop by for incidentals Debra, good luck

  8. Good luck, my doc gave me a preventative gallstone med post -op so I will take it religiously. Maybe we need more healthy fats in our diet.
  9. Hot passion tea sweeten with monk sugar (splenda product) this morning worked for me, I drank nearly 7 oz in a sitting. I read somewhere on here to drink hot lemon tea in the am since the stomach is more swollen overnight from saliva. Yesterday my tummy felt like a swollen mess with all my Protein shakes so might do a few more warm liquids today.
  10. I am post op and living on pinterest for ideas now. you can add yummy stuff like greek yogurt and sugar free Jello powder. experiment with it. Can't wait for next week to try cottage cheese and scrambled eggs, and I doubt I've ever eaten cottage cheese but hey,new lifestyle
  11. Maybe you discuss your weight with your doctor within the year. The letter from your doctor seem simple, not to mention they weight you every time you go in

I can start full liquid diet as soon as I get home. first day today so I was trying passion tea and Syntrax nectar, that was A BIG fail so got 2 fat tsp greek yogurt 1/2 scoop Syntrax nectar fuzzy peach thinned it out with almond milk Much more yummy and tiny amount. Slowly sipping on my evian (only Water tolerate pregnant)
  13. Whew finally home! was just one day too much but my Doctor doesn't need any brownie points for being rush. As sweet as she is, I just wanted to say bye! lol. day 1 and 2 were hard but by the 3rd day it was much easier but still no hunger but craving vienna saugage for some weird reason. sure I haven't eaten them in years. Lets make these two months count guys!

  15. 72 calories but not sure if predigested protein is as complete as whey . Need a nutritionist advice on this
  16. I am going monday, june 9th. I'm watching youtube videos. Really enjoyed Matthew Weiner videos, and first week post-op videos are really good. I can tolerate pain for 1- 3 days, lets hope. Guess when I get nervous, I plan, so bought some liquids etc. Need to get isopure low carb, maybe grape and pineapple flavor. Anyway can't wait!!!

  18. I am pre-op so thanks for the warning. I had to buy 250mg simethicone capsules last week for bad pain so I think thats a warning of how bad it can be. Surgery date june 9th
