I Was sleeved Monday June 9th. I have to say I am one of the lucky ones so far. I had no nausea, no vomiting and minimal pain. That all may sound good but I am having trouble mentally and emotionally. It seems like everywhere you turn there's something that has to do with food. I'm trying to stay strong. This to shall pass. On a good note I am down 12 pounds from the morning of surgery. WOOT WOOT!!

It really is different. It's learning to do things all over again. I get scared that I'm gonna take too big of a drink n get sick.

I made the switch June 9th.. I'm so happy it's finally done with now I can start my new journey. Woot woot!

My day is finally here. I will finally be sleeved tomorrow morning. A little nervous about recovery but I'm ready for it. ????

Today I started my 8 day pre op liquid diet. My dr has his patients doing 4 bariatric fusion shakes a day. Well I got 2 in today. I can not stomach the thought of another shake today.

The emotions are crazy. I'm very excited to start my new journey. I'm scared of recovery.

That is great news, how long have you been waiting for an answer from your insurance company? I got a response within 4 days. I have highmark bcbs.

I'm not nervous about the surgery I'm more nervous about the recovery.

Got my approval today couldn't be happier.. Just hoping my supervisor doesn't deny my FMLA.

I am at the end of my 6 month diet doc. Just wondering if anyone else had trouble losing pre op weight??

I am due to have my surgery around May. Today I spoke with a friend that I haven't spoken to in years and she started telling me how a friend of hers and her brother in law had the sleeve and have had nothing but complications. Her brother in law was sleeved in December 2013 and he suffered a bowel obstruction. I've been so confident about having this surgery and now I feel like I'm second guessing myself.
